Wtf are all these weird videos about to do with MGS5? I've never really been a fan of the series and every time I check this thread, there's a new video of some weird man wrapped in bandages...

doesnt look like Hayter, or he shaved himself! and i would love him to be Hayter (again TROLL since the begining with Davind fucking with us saying that Kojima didn't ask him to voice snake again) but shieeet we will see

Damn...you beat me to the post, Mazy. Personally, I like Kiefer's voice and he has done acceptable voice work in the past. That said I am not a core MGS fan so it doesn't matter that much to me who's voice they use as long as the performance is good. I'm sure Thrik, as a MGS fan, may have more insight on +/- of this so...educate us.

Fox engine also looks sweet but in any event I'm hoping the gameplay is better not just better graphics. MGS4, while a great game, just wasn't quite my cup of tea since I felt it was a little to restrictive.

And...btw..LoS2 looks pretty cool but that's another topic...

Remember, it's Kojima pulling the strings. It's not the first time he has messed with our heads.

This is now metal gear solid 2.0, the old series is dead.

In a way it makes senses though, tech has progressed and with facial motion capture you need a better actor But still, DAYUM. I'm sure he can give a powerful performance but I'm not so sure he can sound like Snake... Richard Doyle did a great job in MGS4. Kiefer just always sounds like... himself :s

Fuck yes Kiefer Sutherland. Hayes made snake a memorable character, but I understand that they need a more complete actor if they are doing face capture and such. Now we wait for butthurt gamers and online petitions

I love Kiefer but for me changing an iconic voice like Snake's is the equivalent of changing, like, Homer Simpson's voice or some shit. I'll definitely get used to it because there's more to MGS than Snake's voice, but it's hard to not feel disappointed.

With that said, I'm still half-expecting it to turn out that both Naked Snake (Kiefer) and Solid Snake (Hayter) will be in the game, with Hayter being mostly a supporting character like in MGS2. Who friggin' knows.
