How many chances does Italy need to score a goal? I'm going crazy here! Italy deserves the win!
Euro 2012

Yes Italy did deserve to win, we were poor overall. If we had managed to make it through we would've got totally spanked by Germany and its a bit too soon for that to happen again

-
Justice has been served! I thought the English practiced on their penalties? Didn't look like it.
Lol @ Paul
-
LOL ENGLAND, STOP SUCKING AT THE GAME YOU INVENTED.
-
Bit harsh Dux, but then I suppose you can't rant about Wales' performance in the tournament
Admittedly England weren't that good tonight but we made it into the final 8, s'about right for this England team I think. They probably just need more time to adjust to the change of manager and to get back some of the players we lost through injury. First thing on the agenda should be learning how to pass to each other though! -
some insanley superb semi-finals coming up!

I think you can't really practice for being in a penalty shootout. Sure, you can practice shooting penalties...but I think the hardest part about it is the pressure and mental stress when everything depends on you not fucking up. Even the most experienced players have problems keeping their cool sometimes in this kind of situation.

True to a certain extent, you can't perform perfectly every time; hence the missed shot aimed for the corner and the crossbar shot. But Italy in particular seem to have it down, 3 out of 4 of the Italian shooters effectively tricked Hart.
DID NO ONE ELSE LAUGH AUDIBLY AT PIRLO'S PENALTY KICK??
It was so good! -
So, Germany v Portugal for the final, anyone?

At least be good at the game you invented. Wales don't give a fuck about football. At least they all get a big pay cheque.
Since when is reaching the quarter finals considered 'not being good?'. We could be better yeah, but to say we need to be number 1 in the world because we were the first to figure out kicking a ball was fun is a bit of a stretch

The extra time was one big siege in front of England's goal. Judging by ball possession, passes completed and shots at the goal the right team won. Pirlo demonstrated again that he is invaluable for Italy (the accuracy of his flanks is ridiculous) whereas the strikers Balotelli and Cassano failed to impress. Balotelli at least tried really hard this time and got close but to no avail. Buffon is still incredible. This awakes bad memories from the 2006 semi final and is not going to be easy for Germany.
I wish Portugal is going to beat Spain but I'm doubtful...

I wish Germany will win, u mad?

About tomorrows game, Paulo Bento announced today that Hugo Almeida will be the striker so that means we will play with our standard lineup but with Hugo Almeida instead of Helder Postiga. There's also a rumor that we might play with Ronaldo in the middle and either Varela or Quaresma on the left and Nani on the right, it that was true i think Spain wouldn't stand a chance, but I don't think it's going to happen. Anyway I'm certain it will be a great match, I don't think we're going to win bu we might get a tie if we're lucky and then Ronaldo misses the penalty and we loose

The Portuguese media are also saying that the ref that was chosen for the game might cause some problems since he is Turkish and for some reason Turkish refs usually favor Spain. I really don't care who the ref is, but it might make the game a bit ugly since our players don't deal that well with bad ref decisions

Taken from wikipedia:
QuoteOn April 24, 2012, he officiated the Champions League semifinal between FC Barcelona and Chelsea at Camp Nou, Barcelona. On June 11, 2012, he officiated the Euro 2012 Match between Ukraine and Sweden.
On June 18, he also officiated the Euro 2012 match between Italy and Ireland where he was very precise when it came to ensuring the correct distance from the ball to the defenders' wall, though he also angered the Irish by sending off Keith Andrews one minute before the end of the game. He was not selected to referee a quarter-final game but he was 4th referee in England-Italy quarter-final. Next day he selected to Portugal-Spain semi-final match in Euro 2012.

It was so good!kleinluka: I know, but they were being arrogant about it. They wanted penalties because they practice for it. Just look at how Hart reacted. That's why I said it.
I also agree with Marvin.
Tonight SPAIN - PORTUGAL, I'm so excited
