Euro 2012

    POL vs RUS was a great match. When Arshavin is up to his game he can play a single pass to circumvent the entire opponent's defence. He then reminds me of Xavi, but during the 2nd half he just looked like he was trying to run through a wall. Regardless I rooted for Poland and the goal by Kuba was amazing.

    Bring on GER vs NED!

    This is a great tournament so far. I think Group A is definately the most interesting. Great games and the team that surprised me the most by far is Russia. If the Dutch somehow manage to survive Group B I think it will be over if we have to face them. Sorry, but Portugal will be crushed by them based on what I saw.

    I also hope that Poland reaches the next round. They play with a lot of heart. I can appreciate that. Tonight is a big night for us. It's either going to be an epic fail or show of strength. I think it would be best for us if Portugal loses otherwise all of us will have 3 points.

    What a bunch of whining pussies! Portugal should form an actors club. Don't get me wrong, they are the stronger team and the goals were beautiful but who wants to win like that? They keep faking injuries and fouls, it ruins the game.

    The German goal machine is gaining steam. What was up with Robben btw.? He acted like a spoilt brat when he was exchanged. It's probably what you said, Sprony: no heart. :neutral:

    I only caught glimpses of the 2nd half of the match between POR and DEN but it looked like those Danes are always good for a surprise. Looking forward to Sunday.

    I missed that about Robben. The papers aren't writing about it either so I wouldn't know.

    Denmark - Portugal was a very nice game to see. Despite the whining on Portugals part. Really exciting and the Danes know how to put up a fight. But fair is fair, Portugal was better and deserved the win.

    No, that's not very sportsman-like. But based on the game, he was probably very frustrated

    Yeah, I feel the same about tonights games. I also have a bit of a hangover and after yesterday, I don't feel like watching. Perhaps tonight I'll think differently.

    I think he did it out of petulance, he can't deal with not being the centre of attention in the team, it's no good for Holland when they have player's like that who aren't all about the team

    The coach is benching the heart! It's Kuyt, I honestly think that if he were starting the entire Dutch team would perform better; he's just a really hard working, top quality player. Robben should stay on too but, they need to fit Kuyt in somewhere I think.

    Yea, the Danes are surprisingly good almost every match; BUT, Ronaldo was really off in that game. If Ronaldo had played at all as well as he usually does he would have scored at least two more goals, probably 3.
