Me and my brother just got in, both downloading now.

Played it for some 3-4 hours, it's pretty good so far. However one thing that really drags it down for me is how floaty and unresponsive the driving feels. In a post-GTA V world then the driving mechanics just feel really unpolished, or maybe it's just a matter of me having gotten a bit too used to GTA V'ish snappy car grip. Not super thrilled about the feel of the shooting either.
Visually it's something of a mixed bag, but in general it looks quite good. Again, in a post GTA V world then it just pales in comparison, and that from playing this on a PS4.

Don't believe the hype. This is just another Assassin's Creed debacle where Ubisoft Montreal failed to optimize their game. IF you can miraculously load into the game without becoming frustrated, the game play is interesting. However, very over hyped, I spent the last two hours attempting to play through the game with intermittent freezing and skipping making the game unplayable. I have a GTX 760 Overclocked 4MB and I cannot run this game. I meet all of the specifications and the game still runs like crap. Don't waste your money. ------ For obvious reasons, the fan boys will disagree, however many people are experiencing these same issues including stuttering and freezing during driving, general game play, crashes, or not being able to start the game. I wanted to like this game, I was anticipating this game for two years., and now I want my money back.

holy shit my eyes hurt trying to read that

Mazy: it's (unfortunately) clear from a simple randomly picked recent video that the car is basically just pivoting on it's central axis. Ridiculous, and not because of GTA5. Despite they throw 2000 staff at these projects, you can easily find indies doing better… and I think I've read that they even knocked at the door of the Driver's devs? O.o

Is that a downgrade or was that "techdemo" a total fake?
-
Its the same thing when it comes to E3 demos. These days almost nothing that is in an E3 demo from lighting, particles, models, bespoke anims etc doesn't get put in the full release.
Regardless of how they did it, they knew the end product wouldn't be able to be like that.

Pc and next-gen look the same to me (on mobile)

Except for the lighting that's different on every platform (ps4 seems to be the intended one, just a tad too dark?)

Bought. Very bad Optimization, don't buy today this game for PC.
I have good fps but freezes on any settings(!) - i tried play on Ultra/Hight/Middle settings, no difference. Memory Leak?
Piece of shit!
Game lagging like Crysis in 2007, but Crytek game still looks amazing.

It's kind of impressive how ugly the minimum settings make this game, while still doing absolutely nothing to change framerate lol. For the low settings it looks like they just computationally cut poly counts and downresed textures without any polish, and it looks like absolute garbage. Like how games back in 2004/5 used to do it, before shaders and post-processing and resolution started to be the primary heavy hitters of performance.

Should I get this game?

I haven't had any issues with watch dogs on the ps4. I didn't really like it all that much at first, same feeling I had with GTA 5 as well, but once I got used to it all I'm quite enjoying it.
-
I've put it down until that PC optimization patch Ubisoft announced comes out. Thankfully State of Decay just released its "Lifeline" DLC that adds a brand new environment, so I've got something to fill my time. Hopefully that's good

This is the first game wich makes crash my computer when I try to play it, I think they focused a lil' bit too much on the hacking part.

What people were expecting, a real life simulation ? I can find hundreds of those glitches in GTA. That's like very harsh and grumpy.
I'm wondering why this game gets all the hate (won't buy it anyway lol) Is it because their marketing campaign created too many over hyped expectations ? Or nowadays players are that picky they want a refund when they have no splach FXs for shots in the water ?
-
They hate it because they are unhappy with their lives

I really like the combat so far, feels like playing Heat when huge gunfights starts in the streets
and the AI isn't super stupid either. Anyway, the main character has the same amount of appeal as a tea bag, white male with a raspy voice, just like the newest splinter cell and deus ex
Had a random dude come into my game and tried to hack me, ended up in a car chase where he went over a bridge and raised it, but I found a ramp and jumped over and landed on him. Awesome. -
