omg, yes, yes yes yes yes yes!

I'm probably the only one who's actually excited about this, lol. Doom3 is among my favorite games ever, and this is the perfect excuse to play it again on my sofa with a proper sound set-up and HD tv, bring it on! I wonder if it's 1080p?

Doom 3 is great yeah, but it's even better with the Last Man Standing coop mod with a friend.

Nice music. Funny that only now consoles can run a cutting edge PC title from 2006.

You mean the game that was released for the original Xbox in fall 2004?

You know, I'm actually looking forward to this. I feel like I shouldn't be. But I am, and i'm ok with that.

Hah, surprising move. Kind of just puts me in the mood for the magnificent Dead Space when I watch that trailer, though.

id move to ruin Doom 3:

    Quote

"We've tried to find those opportunities that can enhance the gameplay," Willits says. "We didn't have enough ammo in the original. It was too dark. There weren't checkpoint saves. No flashlight. That one was so big, we put it on the sell sheet."

Ammo conservation is part of the game, it should be difficult, it's fucking DOOM.

Again the flashlight or gun mechanic, you can either see or shoot, the ducktape mod just ruined the experience, it turned it from a terrifying game to just a bleh shooter.

Mixed opinions on checkpoint saves though. They're ok as long as they're not too frequent.

The new missions sound kinda cool, I hope there's an option to just buy those, siiince I already have D3 and RoE, I don't really want to pay for them a third time.

A shame they most likely didn't implement some of the goodies the Sikkmod implements (and other high-res mods)

I wonder how long they'll have to wait for Rage.
