the dynamic gi looks really cool but i am also worried that i dont see anything that would imply to me that this stuff will run more than 20-30 fps

Yea I've heard a number of people expressing that concern, specifically when they're talking about Starwars 1313 and how it was being shown on top of the line PCs at E3. There is concern that the next consoles may end up running games like Starwars 1313 at 30 FPS or so, just like they did with hefty UE3 games this console generation. Here's hoping that next year with the new console releases we will be shocked by the quality of the tech (and hopefully prices too?).

Don't like 99% of consoles games run at 30 fps? I'm talking about games that would use an engine like Unreal ...

I agree it sucks when your game doesn't hit a stable 30, but next gen consoles have quite allot of kick to them. The only thing here I see that would have a hard time to sell to developers is the physics based particles near the end. Tis gonna proper rape the frame rate, you can even see their demo machine struggling with a single effect. For it to look good you need millions, not so easy to just trim the numbers. It is awesome to use as a feature on a platform such as PC where you can simply turn it on as an advanced feature.

Unreal Engine 4 - Everything You Need To Know

Bit more of a layman's video I think, but hey.
