    I'm a big fan of the vanilla dayz mod (cannot tolerate SA at the moment) but since the mod is pretty much dead and they took down the public hive I'm been champing at the bit to try something new.

    Yeah Miscreated was promising, i stopped watching their devblog near the Cryengine 3.5 swich, that's cool they have now BPR supports, looking 10x better than before !

    Miscreated looks so much better than Dayz mostly because of it having cohesive gameplay mechanics (ie proper player movement etc)

    How does persistence work? I was on a server and got some noice gear and all, then the server crashed, so I joined another server that had persistence off. Started with a completely new character and seem to have lost all progress


    On the other side, the game is much better than expected and very fun actually


    edit: seems like the first server I was playing on was on a private hive
