    The Promentheus model was provided by Ed Giddings

    Right now two Phaser models are in the work.

    I currently have a 20 page + design document detailing the majority of the Single player mod. I do not want to release any of this information at this time unless you are serious about joining the dev team.

    I do not have that much to offer in the area of compensation except that your work will be shown to thousands of people guaranteed. The reason I can guarantee this is because I run http://%7boption%7d. As I get thousands of unique visitors each day.

    I will be releasing a teaser storyline with in the next month.

    I understand you dont want to post your whole design doc, but you should at least post some general outline of your mod because else nobody will "seriously consider" joining your mod... unless he doesn't know what he's doing.

    And it's all nice that you are making promises.

    But that has been done before. Usually it is the mods that make these promises that cannot keep them and the mods that DO keep them do not make them because they don't need to.

    We've had A TON of this type of threads.

    General rule is, if you want people to join your team, post something that sparks their interest. So with that said, I hope that you will post some more info on the project

    I like the fact that it's set on an other planet. That's pretty rare (the guy who was making this mod about the moon doesnt count) -- should be interesting to see how youre handling the art direction and what ideas you can come up with to make this planet unique and different from what we are used to seeing.

    I'd want to see AT LEAST playermodels with animations in motion, ie: not screenshots/renders. Preferably models ingame. This tells me you have both modelers and animators and coders! Which is what every mod needs besides me, the averagelevel designer. Get what I'm saying though?

    I am sorry but I can not provide you with player models since I have no modeler to model them. People keep saying they want to help out, show up for 3 days and then drop off the face of the planet. I wish I had more stuff to show but in order to get other modelers or people for other positions I need to show them some of the work and thus I am in a one hell of a cycle and can not get out.

    Why not just inform Paramount that you're ripping off their stuff so they can Fox your mod now, instead of later?

    Lol ferret, u cant expect animated playermodels. Animators are pretty rare and even more picky than mappers.

    Like someone said u might have a copyright problem, and get shut down later on.

    I think your mod is a bit too ambitious, singleplayer with diffrent species, ships and planets, this is gonna take a few years to complete if you find the right ppl. But if u want to attract more ppl, dont post long text stories, instead post some concept art and describe the gameplay, not what captain kirk did in the nebula system with species 3827 stardate 23389.

    Will do. And i know that it will take 1-3 years to develop. I am not in that big of a rush to get it done. I am more concerned on the quality of it. As for copyright matters...I have been talking to the head of http://www.stgu.com and he does not seem to think there will be any problems. Paramount has never shut down all of the fan sites. The fan sites would have the same copyright problems as I would be having.
