    lol

Haha I've experienced that same exact thing, only with a plane. I was left shocked for like half a minute after

Also had a case later where I was trying to land, when suddenly a huge passenger jet enters the picture, trying to take off, with me by completely chance pushing down underneath it and escaping.

So yeah, GTA V airports, a lotta fun

Yeah, but I'm planning on playing with a group of friends that I've played a lot of RDR with. Also, I'm playing it mainly on 360, so there's that (figure you're on PS3). Might boot that up soon tho.

It's probably naive to think we can actually play it online this week. No way the servers are gonna handle that much traffic properly.

How many will finish the GTA 5 campaign? GTA4 was at 27%. It's ridiculous that gamers want bigger worlds and then they don't finish the main story. And GTA is not a challenging game at all.

It's not ridiculous. GTA is a sandbox game. It's not a movie. It's not a rail shooter. Both comparisons are a fallacy. Missions are just one option of things to do in this game. Maybe a lot of people just want to do other things. This freedom of choice is the appeal of sandbox games. It's also a luxury. One that Rockstar can afford when they are on a 200m $ budget and make enough dough in the first week to make 5 more of these games.

So it's completely futile to make this a discussion about games as a whole because there arn't so many games around that compare.

If anything i think Rockstar could have pushed the content even a little further. So much attention to small details yet the environment story telling doesn't compare to what Bethesda puts out. In Skyrim or Fallout 3 you can walk in any direction and you find cool little things or surprises all the time. This stuff is still there in Rockstar games but much more sparse. I also think that actualy might one of the reasons why GTA4 wasn't finished more often. I know that i didn't finish it because i was so bored out of my mind by the rest of the game that i just quit wheras in Fallout 3 i put 80 hours into the game before tackling the main story line eventualy.

You are right, that's not what i meant, on the point of view of a developer i find depressing the idea that i can build something that no one will enjoy.

oh yea absolutely. i was commenting from player perspective. but then i don't think i would be too sad right now if i was in the shoes of a Rockstar artist/designer.

Yeah completely agree, that has always been my biggest beef with GTA. That and the lack of any consequences whatsoever for your actions. Oh yeah, unless you take pictures of a random chick in a party...

Not sure if I'll put 80 hours into this, just hoping to put at least 20 good hours
