Engie was definitely a large part of #mapcore for me, though he was maybe not the most prominent member of the core back then, then his presence was definitely felt. Damn we talked so much crap back then (Cliffyb, mantrain, hello.jpg and all that drivel), but that's what was fun about #mapcore, hanging out after school, chatting and playtesting stuff.

Dammit, makes me so depressed when I hear things like this, and so young. So sad

Like many others Engy was a massive part of the core to me, from being tricked numinous times into see a man's ass being stretched to the classic swing.gif. He truly was one of the funniest guys in the core. For most people thats all they would see of engy, but for those who took the time to get to know him better, he wasn't all about the stretch. An intelligent and often caring guy lurked on the other side of a PM. Will greatly miss him RIP.

I've never had a face to put to Engineer's shenanigans. But it's also nice to see the face behind the name.

Really sad news, one of the handful I really spoke to a lot many years ago in irc - even if he also tricked me many times into seeing the stretch! He will be soarely missed, R.I.P Engy

sorry for double posting in the other thread. I rarely check the off topic section. I should have. Truly sad to see him leave us so soon.

BTW

It appears it wasn't a gun accident. We heard from his cousin and apparently it was a horrible accident relating to his pain medication and dental lauhging gas.
