    Quote from Puddy

    I'm a PC gamer so I wouldn't know

Thing is, I just think the melee combat lacked some finesse, like that found in for example Arkham Asylum. At most times I was just spamming my way through the fights and the game didn't really punish me for it...

Thats explains it, because I felt Arkham (edit)became repeditive and boring. So I guess my opinion is biased to liking space marines combat more.

I wouldn't say Arkham was repetitive and boring... just a lot more slow paced and tactical. The "don't get hit" combo mechanic worked wonders and the mob fights difficulty curve was spot on throughout the entire game.

Space Marine and God of War, on the other hand, are a lot faster paced and focus on you getting in "the flow", thus larger and larger combats with the odd mix (medusas + minotaurs, fuck) to shake you out of the comfort zone.

I'm confident it will be good, but will hold my judgement until I see it

I actually bought this! Rockpapershotgun posted a link to a UK retailer selling it for 23 pounds.

I was very skeptical because I dislike the whole concept of key-selling. A very dodgy business.

But this is just a UK retailer that sell both physical and digital goods and the key is easily activated on Steam. It looked legit after some scrutiny so I went ahead and bought it from there. Got the activation key straight away and started the game download within minutes.

Just letting you guys know in case you're interested
