You enter that code, and you should be good to go. Since that's how it works with every other phone number identification I've seen... :) ( if you can't text you should change of phone ^^)

On the long run that could however be a problem. You could have a new phone number already paired with another account and therefore couldn't pair your number with yours...

They will know the real identity of people with that at least, and could even prevent them to have two accounts if they have two phone numbers :)

Okay, I will try it with my normal cell phone later then.

    PS: It works.

Still not feeling the love of the new Nuke. If someone on mapcore made it I'd tell them to get rid of some clutter :) Even if it was CT-sided I loved the simplicity of the old one.

Do hope they update Inferno properly though, I like that map too.

highlight the 'clutter' you are meaning with screenshots etc and I'm sure it'll get picked up. Valve people are part of mapcore but rarely post.

While I don't agree with valves method of gathering feedback for their new maps (I think it would be better to make the community aware of intentions beforehand and incentivise players to try the map before adding to the 'actual money' pool) they have improved the other 3 recently added maps dramatically since they were introduced. They do listen to a great deal of the feedback but that doesn't always mean that they agree with it.

No but if I have to point it out they should change jobs imo cause I'm a bloody amateur :) A lot of the stuff looks really good, don't get me wrong, but in the flow of the game it's just in the way. The most obvious is the railings on A, but in general a lot of the outside area has way too many objects. It doesn't need to be to make it balanced, it used to be a simple map, and I think people love Dust 2 because it's simple, same with previous Nuke. (the other half hated it because it was too simple, so there's a balance).

Maybe I'll go and point out each and every thing, but overall I would just call it visual clutter. Detail for details sake and at the same time it looks like they just made a new object for every possible place someone would stand to shoot at someone. If you compare it to e.g. Season I think Season is a beautifully detailed map, but isn't cluttered with objects and details that impair view.

stuff is easy to overlook- you should know that yourself. Even the best mapper in the world can get decent feedback off an amater :)

in other news @FMPONE released a cache update. Reddit was mainly impressed. Apart from this guy:

Quote Ok so i got 300 stable fps (capped) everywhere on the map as usual (besides nuke..), but WHAT exactly makes me drop to 250-270 when im in mid in front of connector facing Garage? I should not have any problems, its particularly this area of the map (between whitebox and connector, facing t spawn)

edit: just checked, with 3 smokes in mid im dropping to 200... 100 frame-fluctuation? Unacceptable. FMPONE goes full nuke-style on me.. i hope this gets solved, or am i the only one with this?.. My vid-settings are low for competitive play, res is 800x600. Sooo... i dont understand. GTX 970, i5-6400, 8GB Ram

    FULL NUKE STYLE

Overall I like the changes but the sunroom art is pretty over baring, I would have it as a distressed decal blended into the wall. It looks out of place as what can only be described as a metal easel :P

I've been getting back into CS:GO lately. Every single time I put down CS for a couple months I become completely terrible at the game because no other FPS works like this

I really think we should ban from all sort of gaming people complaigning about not having a constant 300 FPS.

I can understand people complaining about sub-144fps using a monitor built for that. But it's still their problem to fix.

Mapmaker's only goal should be matching the performance of other popular maps

    I agree with you guys.

You can defiantly feel the difference in 60 -> 144 Hz, but can people even tell the difference after that?

You can feel the difference but you can still play okay on 60Hz monitor :P

But some people play on low resolution because pros play with those... but pros play with those only because they are used to it. That's a really dumb thing to mimic in my opinion but hey, fanboy love doing it.

It's more that a sudden drop of 25% of your total frame rate will often give you a slight micro stutter or inconsistent input delay rather than a percieved laggy fps

I kind of felt like that at first, but especially if you don't sit glued to your screen (I have a pretty big desk but a two screen setup) it's actually pretty nice to run the game at 1024x768 stretched. It's just easier to see stuff.

So that Cache update. Is that automatically taken into the game version, or can they decide they don't want it, how does that work?

Yeah of course but you can stretch any resolution, you don't have to have a resolution half the size of your screen. Like ~1200×1024 for a full hd monitor, stretched instead of 800×600 stretched :)

That's true, but I don't know if it's the engine or what, it just doesn't look as crisp in 1080p'ish resolutions, the AA smudges it and it's even worse without. I can run this game almost at whatever setting I want without GPU taking a hit, but I just can't make it look as crystal clear and big as in those lower resolutions. I haven't experimented a lot with super sampling etc. but small tests didn't make it as good at least.
