Personally, if I were left with adding a revolver, I would've added a .50 cal one like the S&W500, which not only looks more impressive and revolvery, it could then also be based on some slightly alternate deagle balance.

I only did one overwatch the last few months. And yesterday I got a message for a successful overwatch report.
Valve takes action and patches the R8, 2 days after release. It feels a lot more balanced already
yeah I did a casual with it this morning and could no longer rekt a full team of pushing CTs. It's still a great gun but is now more similar to a pistol'd scout than a rapid fire awp. It felt the Deagle is better for holding an angle then falling off from what I've played today.
I'm going to keep it on T side. Now I need a pretty skin for it :3

They are cheaper than overlays as you can't scale them and don't have subdivisions (so use them when it's possible). Also you can trigger some logics on them, like a on/off setting, can be usefull

It's you. The latest patch made it harder to spray but didn't make it easier to tap fire in any way :v
I can't get used to p250. I used to be quite good with it. Now I don't even come close to a kill

okay I never quite succeeded in spraying successfully, so I didn't saw the difference on that point except that I tend to get killed by sprays less often

I find the p250 is best when you're surprising your opponent with a flank and take your time to aim for the head and then spam body. It's a really situational gun, IMO. Which is probably why it costs so little.
Bursting feels so much more random now, I get kills on obvious misses and less hits on what I would have expected a kill on earlier

Because the rifles are so random now, it sucks. Luck over skill. Valve went the complete opposite way of what people wanted, really sad. 
I can see a rationale for the rifle changes, but honestly it seems like the effort to push the AUG and SSG is kind of never going to work. The user experience on those guns totally sucks, they become inaccurate RNG machines after the very first bullet, and the whole point of them is to pop off targets long range. If you miss your first shot, it's useless, but aren't they supposed to be accurate?
People just want want reliability of their guns, it's why you'll settle for not having a scope with an AK or m4, at least if you miss you can't blame the gun. Or, that was how it worked.
The AWP/AK/m4 trifecta has pretty much always defined CS when other games would have more balanced arsenals but maybe nothing that feels as compelling as that combo. I've read that the change to accuracy was less than 2%, in any event it would be interesting to learn the rationale behind a change, but explaining it to the community just gives them ammunition in reactionary arguments, so I totally get why that doesn't happen more often and I definitiely don't think the community should act as armchair game developers on minute details like this.
The whole issue with the change is that the first shot is so bad that spraying became the main method of shooting in CS:GO. If that were better, the changes would probably feel way better. I've never quite felt comfortable with the CS:GO AK when compared with 1.6, I don't know why they would make it harder.
