    anyone reviewing overwatch cases?

I've only seen one obvious cheater so far in my cases, the rest have played normally, not doing anything fancy. I think people must be spamming the report button a little too much :P

    yup: https://www.reddit.com/r/GlobalOffens…l_me_something/

but i've seen all so far. very bad players, very good legit players, wallhacking players failing to hide the cheat, super blatant spinbotters. But yeah, the report button is pressed so fast :D

my favourite overwatch case so far is where a cheater watched someone on the other team suicide through a couple walls on vertigo. Played totally normally apart from that...

I think a few people are spamming yes! In my experience, when they sound like they are under 16, they tend to report more easily. One time there was a kid like that who wanted to report every players of the game, because his teammates were cheating since they were better than him, and opponents were cheaters if they killed him more than twice in a row...

I had an overwatch case where the guy had an obvious wallhack, and a desert eagle only aimbot.

The aimbot wobbled though, it was like it was predicting where each next shot would be and would adjust his view so that it would land where his crosshair would be pointing (if he wasn't hacking). I don't think he could see the screen shake, it was just an effect we got as a spectator. The worst bit was that when he was moving very slowly or stationary it was almost still, but the faster he moved or jumped then it went into motion sickness inducing overdrive.

And I've had a spinbotting negever... That was quite hard to watch as well :|

Doors were fixed! Footsteps were fixed! Seems like hitboxes are the only gameplay issue left to fix, crazy update!

Usually when it's super-obvious hacking I'm overwatching, I just open up the "demoui" from console and fast-forward it.

Well the thing is he didn't send me a link at any point he just said to download teamspeak and join a certain server. I downloaded teamspeak off of the official website. I had never used TS before, I just entered in his connection info. The thing telling me to update seemed reasonable, then again, I had never used TS. The server would disconnect me and then tell me that the server was using a higher version or w/e. When he kept asking if I had to update ("I had to update you too?, make sure you update etc etc.) over and over I quickly realized it was a scam. Although at that point I had already downloaded the file. I realize it was a fake update file and not the official one distributed by the official teamspeak - but this all happened on a legit installation of teamspeak which made it much less noticeable.

I read something on Reddit which was similar to this. I guess the server you were joining was sending you a message, rather than Teamspeak itself. Sounds like quite a flaw to be honest! Luckily you didn't lose anything. Don't trust anyone!

I'm a bit curious, are these kinds of malicious software picked up by antiviruses ?

Hitman pro detected it once I scanned. But I'm a big dumby and had already run the file. I just sort of assumed I had just downloaded something fishy from the way he kept pestering me to make sure to update.

Thanks that's reassuring ! I asked because each time I scan, it only finds annoying cookies, or sometimes spywares and the one time a trojan. Since personnally I scan all downloaded files before running them, I'm reassured that it could protect me from that. It was that either I'm not living like an Internet thug, browsing shady places, or bitdefender is useless (even if it was expensive as hell!).

Btw, all the money governments throw in the Aids prevention, but cs go inventory related viruses, they won't do anything, tough world!

Happy to see my friends failing to boost into Mirage's window at the start haha! About the level of quality I expect from my friends sometimes :D

Also everyone dancing to my bro's music during Nuke warmup.

EGX has a small CSGO tournament this year. Four teams (Fnatic, NiP, Envy and Virtus Pro) fighting for $100k. I got tickets and I can't wait!

I think you should have had some frags without the HUD and synced to music like a more serious frag-movie and then cut back the more funny stuff, I think it would strike a nice balance and add some variety. This link is pretty good at explaining how to use demos for movie-making: link.

So this happened in my game last night. Never actually seen someone get banned mid-game. Looks like it was for bhop scripting.
