That last one looks like the aftermath of the Citadel exploding in Half Life 2. Poor Chile.

I'm not exactly sure how much warning the Chileans had about the eruption...or how long after the eruption the electrical storms started...but imagine you are in your bed sleeping and wake up to whatever sized rumble a volcanic eruption produces, you look out your window (again, at night) and see some of that shit happening.
