That's still download only... Not even Game UK have it in stock on PC, it's not even on their system!

So after much frustration of searching all over the place, I've finally got an answer that the game is download-only in the UK, the only way to get a DVD version is via import which is why it's so expensive on Amazon as it's coming from Greece!
If I get it on Steam, is there anyway to burn the game onto a DVD..?
-
I checked some stores for you here in the Netherlands but the PC version is scarce and overpriced, Found one store that ships it for 35 euro but delivery is one to four weeks. It would only cost an additional 5 euro's to ship to the UK. But then your still at 40 euro's so nothing's gained really

Why the Hell didn't they state it would be download-only in the first place?! Thanks Deep Silver...
Thanks for the help though man, appreciate it.

No problem

This game is by far one of the best games of the year. Even though I haven't killed much of anything so far, trying to be sneaky, I really love the atmosphere and the characters I meet.
Good layouts / art direction and lighting.
Do yourself a favor and go buy the game now.

You can burn an image of the Steam files - there's a button in the game preferences to pack the files and get them ready as an installer.

I haven't completed the game just yet, but wow... the later stages of the game are really unrewarding and outright frustrating. Fighting the various beasts in this game is such a chore...
-
Okay finished it! All in all it was a good game, but very uneven. Kinda like Metro 2033.

-
Metro: Last Light's 'Mobius' trailer was made by a single artist, wow
-
if you haven't played, you should. easily one of the best games this year

Still waiting to see if I can find a boxed version before playing, I'm too old school yo.

So I'm finally playing it and... holyfuckinshititsawesomeicantstopplaying!!!!
The detail is incredible, I mean the first game was pretty but this is just amazing, the texture quality, the vastly improved character models, the attention to details and that fucking lighting... wowzers... That said, I don't know what they were thinking with the hair modelling, I mean what the Hell is up with Ulman's fuzz and tache?! Not sure about Khan's new dress sense either, he basically looks like a hippy! Meh, tiny issues...
Once more the way they've overhauled the Stealth system means this time it actually works! I'm probably a little under half-way and I've barely fired any shots! Back/neck stabs and flinging shivs baby! I'm actually having fun playing stealth and I usually friggin hate stealth gameplay!
They'ved fixed some other niggles too, now you actually know how much air you have in the filters exactly!
Absolutely loved 'Regina', reminded me of HL's On A Rail!
Oh yeah and
QuoteThat Pavel... what a bastard..!

d3 you're turning russian and you don't even know it

hahahaahahah, classic pavel

i actually stopped playing because it is boring as shit. AAA aspirations made with 1/20th of the budget means choppy cutscenes, bad dialogue, stiff acting, annoying bugs and generally poor pacing.
a nice attempt but overall dull.

honestly this was my impression of the first one and why i'm not all that interested in trying again. I didn't think it was so terrible, it just wasn't compelling enough to continue on. The execution and fun-factor were lacking for me
