    There's actually more

I'm not entirely sure what the problem your having is, can it be illustrated through screen grabs?

I took some shots of my own showing how to place props as brushes. There's really nothing more to it, as Corwin stated, select the Brush tab in the Rollup Bar, find the prop you want, hold left click and drag it in the viewport. Make sure you have the 'Follow Terrain' button ticked on so the prop is placed on the terrain. (Sorry for the large size)

*Enable this button if you want your props to automatically align to the terrain.

*In the Rollup Bar, select the Brush tab, browse to desired prop.

*Select the prop you wish to place in your map, with the left click held, drag the prop from the menu to your map. You will see a small cube with the props name where your cursor is.

*Release the left mouse button, your prop is now on the map. Use the transform tools to move/rotate/scale as desired. Tweak any of the props settings within the brush parameter window in the Rollup bar.

Most props that utilize simple physics, such as a fence, have already been setup to break apart and react as a Brush. Other props that you want to have physics, such as oil barrels will need to be placed in the same fashion above but as Geom Entities. There's a nifty tool that allows you to convert between these two types so you don't have to replace your meshes. On the main toolbar, click 'Modify' > 'Convert' > Choose what you want.

So another question that hopefully one of the crytek guys can answer, any reason why some of the prefabs in Buildings don't work on my map?

I get some purple boxes and a few props but the majority have half of the prefab missing. They appear to be in island though. It also says unknown archetype under type for the props.

Had a look at the database for island and it appeared to have all the things loaded in entity too, so i tried that and it worked.

You would probably need to include the libraries used in the prefab into your level before you can use it. For instance, if within the prefab there is an archetype of an explosive barrel, you need the library containing that archetype loaded. Loading libraries is done in the database view, in the first tab. It should be pretty easy to find which contain the models you need.

EDIT: Oops, sorry didn't see your last line up there

Alrighty then, new question (i searched the crymod forum found no answer which makes me believe its impossible.)

I know you can set the ammo on another entity, what I want however is to add ammo, there doesn't seem to be a node to do that so I thought I might be able to count the ammo already on my VTOL add one and then set that as the ammo. Anyone know if that is possible because I couldn't find a way to count the ammo on anything other than your own inventory.

    Perhaps Inventory:AddAmmo?
