Dexter marathon, got to s5e11… only the finale left and have to wait at least a week to watch it with my gf! Want to know what happens.

Anyway, at least she enjoyed the new TV.

Absolutely loved watching Mr. Robot. Glad to see a bunch of people posting about it here. Great show!

Just finished Jessica Jones recently. It was enjoyable and really dark. I tend to enjoy dark shows, so it was enjoyable. Some things in the show bothered me a bit, but still a show I'd recommend.

The Man From U.N.C.L.E was really really good. Did not expect it to be that at all but it turned out to be a great 60s spy-movie with humor, action and wit!

Since I got the TV I started watching Archer for lunch breaks/short sittings. I love it, I'm now toward the end of Season 2

makes me want to play XIII again... or better, a tie-in (which Obsidian has stated they'd be interested in doing after nailing South Park, news was like one year old so I'm keeping my fingers crossed)

PS: discovered they have all seasons on YT! (I watch on Netflix)

Yesterday I watched "Sicario" and...wow...this movie is impressive.
I stayed glued on my chair to the beginning at the end. I advice you this movie guys.

I watched it based on your recommendation :); good movie, recommended to watch. I liked how it shows that there is no black and white rather grey areas. there is no right or wrong in the absolute, it's all about perspective.

    I also watched "The Grey"

It's not a masterpiece, but it's not a flop either. Not a bad movie overall, with a slightly depressing tone, but that's to be expected in a wilderness survival after a plane crash :)

I watched "American Sniper" this weekend

@will2k i remember giving the grey a 4/10 straight after watching it. Because I like survival movies and this one wasn't tense etc. From what I remember everything was very predictable, "surgically" scripted (timed).

That's why I said it's an average movie, not a mesmerizing piece of art and not an utter failure. Any rating between 4 and 6/10 would be spot on for this movie :)

    Just went seeing The Ravenant.

Damn it's good. Maybe because I haven't seen a movie like this in ages, or because I didn't plan on seeing it (from trailer I thought it would lack in narration) but it brought me back to my youth adventure readings of stuff like White Fangs, or the stories of the Canadian horse police(?)

Just found there's a documentary making of

I watched "American Sniper" this weekend

On the surface, American Sniper is pretty well directed but deep down I can only see it as nothing more and nothing less than 'Muricah propaganda, and for that I've very disapointed with Clint Eastwood. The last thing this country needs is more disinformation, the 9/11 scene made chuckle, why is that scene even in this movie is beyond me since the Iraq war had nothing to do with the attack.

Maybe they hostaged the movie? They do on superhero movies… can imagine even more on sensible subjects. They still want to convince they went to Iraq because 9/11 (it's too embarrassing admitting they followed the bogus trail Italians spread about dirty weapons)

Planning to see it very soon. Leo got the Golden Globe for this role and if he doesn't get the Oscar too, somebody gonna get hurt (Russell Peters quote :D)

I agree with you. This is not Eastwood's best; the fighting scenes are well orchestrated and realistic, the secondary actors are more or less convincing and there are some tense moments in the movie, but it feels stiff, predictable and cliche'd. This is probably because they need to stick to the book/autobiography that the movie is based on, in addition to some additional dramatization to pay tribute to Chris Kyle.

I watched this last night. A very tense movie, which is beautifully shot, well written and has great performances in it.

Battlestar Galactica (reimagined) on @jackophant's recommendation. I've been watching it a while but due to recent circumstance changes I've had a chance to binge the last 2 seasons. That ending though.

the teasiest movie I've seen in ages! Then you read the wiki to understand the incomplete ending and you find out that it was supposed to be a pilot for a tv show.
