Sicario is definitely on my "To watch" list after seeing the trailers the other day!

Gotham season 1 finale, and I mean last 2-3 episodes, were very good. Happy about how it escalated.
Juat watched first and second episode of Mr Robot and it's a damn good show! Amazon Prime exclusive atm.

Sherlock Holmes Classics (the way Sir Arthur Conan Doyle wrote them :))

How are these movies? I've read some of the Sherlock novels like the Baskervilles and I think I don't want to ever imagine the thing differently from what I came up in my youth

A movie will never match one's vivid imagination and how they reconstruct the characters and chain of events in their mind

With that said, these movies are quite faithful to the novels and vision of the Sir Arthur Conan Doyle; there is no action superhero extravaganza (like the recent Guy Ritchie/Robert Downey, Jr version), it's more brain work and charismatic character of Holmes. The plot can get slow sometimes but it doesn't detract from the overall movie flow.
In my opinion, Jeremy Brett (Holmes) and Edward Hardwicke (Watson) are probably the best actors who embodied the vision of Doyle from the novels. Before these 2 movies in 87 and 88, there was a TV series with Brett-Hardwicke in the mid 80s called "The adventures of Sherlock Holmes" which I used to eagerly anticipate every episode

Seen Mockingjay Part 1, to catch up and eventually go see the last with my girlfriend... so glad it was on a Netflix I don't pay, this movie redefines the meaning of "filler": two hours of absolute nothing happening, boring scenes etc as highlighted in the honest trailer. Where's the "Everything Wrong"?

Heroes Reborn. The beginning was pretty bad, wasn't excited at all. But after the episode in which they travel back in time to explain what happened before the series first episode I was "Oh! Now it's going back to its rails". They've found a perfect excuse to kill the immortal cheerleader.

The first episode of Halt and Catch Fire is another great opening of a show for geeks.

I'm going to watch The Man In The High Castle, having the Prime subscription... but the pilot didn't convince me fully at the time.

Great film. I really love all of Armando Iannucci's stuff, if just for the creative swearing

Also Fargo season 2 is great;
How does it compare to season 1? (I know it's a different cast with a different story that is very loosely related).
Season 1 caught me by surprise and as soon as I watched episode 1, I was itching to watch the rest of them :). Billy Bob Thornton was really menacing in his role.
Does season 2 have the same atmosphere? good cast? storyline?

Yes season 2 has the same atmosphere a great cast. Storyline is pretty good, it isn't very unique but still interesting enough.

Rufus Sewell! I love this guy. Have to check this out, it looks very interesting. I've disregarded most TV ads as they don't really purvey anything meaningful about it.

Z for Zachariah, by far one of the greatest movies I have watched in a long time. A slow paced drama with tension in every scene, it's like a post apocalyptic Adam & Eve and the snake. Not many movies can get a grip on human nature and behavior like this movie did. Not a movie for everyone tho, since most people like to watch brainless action à la The Raid 2. So a boring warning, but that's the kind of movies I love.

Holy moly Mr Robot #9!!!
-
Also watching Man in the High Castle, really cool so far, great production values and atmosphere
