Wolf of wall street is not a great movie but damn. People who call it goodfellas 2 though are pretty dumb.

Why would they call it goodfellas 2? It's not even a gangster movie?

I guess the way it's told over a stretch of time, no real plot, just this focus on events and life style of this guy and the people that surround him. And that people seem to look at it as some return to form as if scorcese hasn't made a good movie or anything since then. I just kept hearing that, and it always made me really mad.

Plus there's already a goodfellas 2, it's called Casino and it's much better than wolf of wall street.

Yeah casino is a classic. I have no idea how they managed to make me feel bad for joe peschi at the end.

I had no idea Scorsese did tWoW, I'm not super familiar with his work but Taxi Driver was a really interesting movie.

Not much free time to watch movies as I would like too but I recently watched these:

the usual laughs expected from Rowan Atkinson

Red Faction: Origins

decent movie though I have not played any of the red faction games

Never heard they made Red Faction movies

Started watching Halt and Catch Fire. Wasn't entirely sold after the first episode, but I'm really liking this show more and more with each episode, now I've caught up and waiting for next week's episode

It also has probably one of the coolest intros around

Just came back from Edge of Tomorrow. It's like Warhammer 40K made a baby with Starship Troopers which life is described by Philip k Dick. Awesome movie!

Oculus. Intriguing opening, decent buildup.... into nothing. The ending was utter balls.

I didn't knew who Werner Herzog was so i went and searched for the documentaries he did. And i fell on the most known apparently "Grizzly-man".

And erhh that was not uninteresting, not at all really... but i found it to be really really difficult to watch.

You didn't knew Werner Herzog!? Go and watch Aguirre, Fitzcarraldo, Stroszek, Enigma of Kaspar Hauser, Woyzeck, Nosferatu etc etc. asap!

I didn't want to see Pacific Rim in theaters reasoning that I didn't care for Transformers versus giant lizards but boy was I wrong. It's a visually amazing movie that I should have seen on the big screen.
