During the first half of the movie I was like "damn, this is pretty sweet" then it was like... ehhhhhhhhh you really felt the plot struggle to resolve. would have been an awesome 3 movie franchise.

You have to watch John Carpenter movies with a different mindset than regular movies His (old) movies are usually pretty awesome but horribly directed. He writes good stories and makes good tracks but he fucking sucks as a director.

Watched the latest Paranormal Activity movie, "The Marked Ones." It was fairly good! I'd call it "refreshing." Some racist dude reviewing for Time called it "The same formula with a salsa tang," lmao

    Beyond the Black Rainbow

As an audiovisual experience it's quite good! The pacing and story are kinda off though, it's definitely style over substance.

In all honesty I think it's probably enough to just watch the following soundtrack clip and you prolly soaked in 90% of what the movie is about

Pretty much. That's a great song. The movie actually left me feeling uneasy.

Yup, it's probably the acting of that Dr. very psycho

And I thought both the zombie and sentionaut without the helmet was totally unnecessary...

season start for True Blood, was ok, not as good end to the weekend like got...but still, like that show just bc its based in the south,

also saw edge of tomorrow, was ok, less epic than I was hoping for, yet slightly better than expected, didnt take itself super serious - which in this case was good, however I was hoping for something more in the lines of Oblivion,

...also, watched millions way to die in the west, had my hopes for something funny! it was total shit! not worth $10-20 movie tickets imo! not even worth $4 itunes, would have left the cinema after 20 mins to go home and map...but had the gf with me and she said no,

...also #2, anyone seen the last ship? or anyother of those new scifi series? like dominion etc?

    Under The Skin

I fucking loved it, but I guess some people might argue it was boring. contained one of the creepiest scenes I've seen in a movie (or maybe I was too stoned). rated it a generous 10 stars on imdb. totally took me trippin' by surprise. visually very pleasing imho.

also has Scarlett Johansson nudity in it, but if you're going to watch it just for that, you'll likely find the movie boring save the nude Scarlett part.

(haven't read the book so I can't whine about authenticity )
