    Totally agree.

    The Walking Dead season two was a diaster. Season 3 got the show up a little again, but still.. Season one beats everything. The last episode was epic! Now, nobody seems to care about why there are zombies and how to fix it. Nope, we are just gonna camp out at one place for each season and move at the finale.

    Duh, I've heard several people say that while i'm on the opposite side of the fence. To me S2 was spot-on fixed on drama since ep1... I need to go back and watch everything (right now i'm not following S3) back to back, S1 for me was a big disappointment, probably because I was tricked to think there was more action than actually was, and found it too slow to entertain me (except the last couple of episodes which hyped me a lot).

    Yeah I don't get this, the second season was the best one so far in my opinion. They really developed the characters in that one, and even though there are some slow episodes those make the more fast-paced ones even more stressful and memorable.

    Unfortunately true, Sci-fi boomed in the 80's and 90's, whereas it was literally frowned upon in the 70's. Now... it's dead again.

    With that being said, this year's the year of After Earth and Oblivion, we'll see if those are any good.

    The manga has an end, but the anime was halted before the 3rd season. Compared to say, the world famous Naruto, it's much more serious, more adult.

    But I didn't like the opening music.

    Enjoying family time at my sister's in the UK, we've been watching a few things

    TED - funny but i expected more (huge fan of Family Guy)

    Skyfall - a huge disappointment, the talent of Bardem is totally under-used imo; hate the setup for the next batch of movies.

    Snowhite And The Huntsman - watchable.

    Love Actually - not really funny and hot chicks get like 4 minutes of screen time, so it's definitely a thumb down.

    Winter's Bone - it's a re-watch for me, and I can't say i like it more, totally overstimated movie imo.

    As an atheist, I really enjoyed the religious aspect of the movie. (And unsurprisingly, a friend that is a firm catholic, find the movie to be rubbish.)

    Interesting that you say that, I always find the religious undertone of Hollywood movies (if they have it) to be a huge thorn in the eye ("Signs", wtf...). It always detracts from my experience.

    Gonna rewatch the movie at some point though, gonna order a bluray pretty soon I think. I suppose the overall quality is questionable but at least it can be appreciated in its full CG glory So yeah, guess it still would make a fine addition to the collection.

    I watched Django Unchained the other day, very interesting watch Although if I think about it there wasn't really a strong story tbh 8| Just stuff happening, interesting stuff nonetheless, I was entertained the whole way through but didn't find much story/character arcs or whatever that movies normally have. Then again, Tarantino usually doesn't follow standards I believe

    Guess I'll just conclude that it was very enjoyable but it won't leave me with any hard thoughts, although it wasn't entirely mindless action either.
