What have you watched recently?

We went to see Life of Pi yesterday. I'm deeply impressed by this movie. It has a great emotional and thought provoking story. But even if you don't care about that, the movie will and can survive on it's stunning visuals alone. This wasn't a movie we saw yesterday, this was art.

Watched The Master by Paul Thomas Anderson. I'd be lying if I said I wasn't a little dissapointed. Literally everything but the script was perfect. But it's hard to like a movie when what the characters say isn't that meaningful or interesting

Just watched TPB AFK.

The documentary about The Pirate Bay trial. It was great!!!

I watch shit movies on purpose... but I don't watch comedies for this reason, in most cases they aren't funny, just a time waste. If I wanna laugh, I watch some stand up comedy

I too just watched the latest episode of the walking dead. So good! Other then that ive been watching the latest episodes of californication also a pretty damn good show.

Watched Wreck it Ralph yesterday and yeah that movie is sick nasty ! Loved the story and the retro style.

A Good Day To Die Hard? No, it's a good day to live hard, live so you can watch many great films and avoid septic shit like Die Hard 5 like the Ebola virus. Should you watch this film? NYET!

Oh and it's nothing to do with me hating on it because it got stuff wrong about Russia, they got all the insignia, uniforms, vehicles etc perfectly right which is why it's a shame that the actual film is complete trousers...

Yeah but the same was the case with several films upon release including DH4, so i didn't think too much of it. Of course if I'd seen it was directed by the same shithead who made such turds as "Behind Enemy Lines" and "Max Payne" then I would have thought twice... In future I'll be boycotting anything by John "I make complete horseshit" Moore...
