also watched 71: step into the fire which was recommended here. loved it.
i've finished my tv series backlog after this... and there's no decent tv series currently airing. recommendations? (some favorites/already watched are breaking bad, deadwood, the wire, boardwalk empire, rome, battlestar galactica and sopranos). no sitcoms please.
might just re-watch the wire .

Homeland
How to make it in America
The Pacific (Not as good as BOB, but not bad either)

Mad Men (similar to Sopranos and Boardwalk in terms of drama but no gangster stuff, instead lots of drinking and smoking)
The Tudors, The Borgias (both similar to Rome but set during the renaissance and a little more on the realistic side)
Game of Thrones (also similar to Rome but with some fantasy attached)
The Shield (similar to The Wire, Sopranos)

The X-Files, if you've never watched them... currently watching season 2, still the best American drama series ever made!

I really liked season 8 actually, Robert Patrick's character was great imho and it was interesting how
Quotethe roles were reversed and Scully was the believer this time
. Season 9... never happened

-
yeah it was interesting given the tension the series had given between m&s, but it was just nowhere near as good as the first 7. i think i only ever got halfway through season 8, and i only watched the first episode of season 9.
-
What a piece of pig turd this movie is, jesus fucking christ.

It's strange, I don't really know what to think of that movie. I was a bit ill and tired when I watched it though...
It's not AHMAHAGAD-good anyway.
