What have you watched recently?

i am listening to smodcast a lot and sometimes on there they talk about the harry potter movies. recently they had an episode called "harry scotter and the deftly swallows part2" which i now consider their "masterpiece" it successfully made me watch all the harry potter movies just so that knew what the fuck they are talking about. ( and it made the jokes that i already thought where genius even better )

the flicks are kind of on a gradient scale first and second is 5/10 than the last 2 are 8/10 either the franchise grew on me or they really got better and better with time either way if you like the potter flicks i highly urge you to listen to this:

Mulholland Drive... I have no idea what it was about, some vague things occured to me but wtf, no movie has ever left me this confused...

Primer

Pretty good movie although the pacing is sometimes very fast which makes it a bit hard to follow. Or I'm just getting stupid...

primer is the type of movie you watch over again and get it more and more

Watched 16 Blocks yesterday, pretty entertaining.

primer is one of my favorite movies of all time gets better and better with every viewing

bale was completely unrecognizeable in the machinist (not just because of body weight, but also acting). I enjoyed both movies, but I would prefer american history x if I had to choose.

The Killing US - Cliffhanger ending? Fuck off. Anyone who hasn't seen it, don't bother, Forbrydelsen is a million times better than it's half-assed remake.

Torchwood Miracle Day - Built up to a "I have no idea whatsoever how this is happening" storyline for 9 episodes to "here's what's been happening, now this is now it ends" final in an hour... lame.

I liked the first couple of episodes and especially the interaction between Holder/Linden.

But the rest was pretty crappy.

Yeah, it started off strong.. don't get me wrong.. but like you say, it fell apart quickly., the worst cliche was one of the the muslim characters suspected of being a terrorist
