yeah, both good movies allthough id like to consider kubricks work superior to hafstroms. i think i understand what you mean by the way, thanks ![]()
What have you watched recently?

Well, I think everyone would agree that Stanley Kubrick is pretty much one of the best genius of cinematography, and comparing a movie to his work is actually a compliment not that other way around.
next to watch: Evil

Cowboys & Aliens
Perfectly watchable, nothing special though. Olivia Wilde adds extra eyecandy..

Quote from Warby
http://www.imdb.com/title/tt1191111/enter the void:
brilliant idea and execution but outstays its welcome (first 20 minutes and last 5 minutes are genius everything else in between is awkward pornographic fluff)
4/10
I took "awkward pornographic fluff" to mean you were watching it public, so sexual content became socially awkward. I took this as an endorsement to watch the movie in private. I should not have.
Quoteon-screen abortion holy shit

Watched Paranormal Activity, good shit, ahah!

Near dark
Some friends and I went to this tonight. We hadn't seen it before. Overall we thought it was a pretty good movie, hilariously cheesy at times, but that good old 80's cheesy. Lance Henriksen and Michael Biehn were there for Q/A which turned out to be hilarious and awkward at the same time.

Watched the first episode last night. So amazingly good.

Started watching Alias, after being recommended by a friend, pretty good so far...

Paz de la Huerta (the sister in Enter the Void) is in Boardwalk Empire and is naked in every single scene she has, and is fucking Steve Buscemi in half of them
-
Enter The Void was my personal movie of the year 2010.
-
30 minutes or less which was hilarious!
-
Four Lions was just on C4. Chris Morris is a genius
-
I just watched it too, on and off. Seemed pretty good! Need to give it a proper watch.

Just caught up on the last two Doctor Who's, which somehow slipped past me.

Just watched 'Rango'. Pretty funny, and the "Spirit of the West" moment ... obvious.
-
Saw Tangled and Rango. Rango was alright, pretty obvious plot and jokes were sort of OK. Impressive CGI though! But I enjoyed Tangled way more.
-
Strike Back: Project Dawn
Blimey, this doesn't hold back on the closeup headshot executions does it? lol

Ahaha.

I've started watching South Park from the beginning, as I've only really watched it from season 12 onwards. The first 2 episodes of Season 1 were godawful but it really picks up afterwards.
Yeah. I'm stuck in the past.
