I watched Rambo 1 sometime ago and i dont know why its perceived as dumb action movie tbh.

Action was merely playing part in the movie.

I don't think First Blood was intentionally perceived as a dumb action movie. At least by people who watched it. Just Rambo 2 and 3 generated that perception and 1 got strung along with it I guess.

Rambo 4 for me, just because the end is like eating a big piece of chocolate cake. So if u dont like cake, u dont like rambo j/k but I really enjoyed 4.

Man I re-watched Inception again last night in blu-ray glory, what a well polished gem!

Chris Nolan is the Steven Spielberg of this decade.

Typical Clint Eastwood movie (and that's a good thing). Has a lot of soul in it.

    [Blocked Image: http://i.imgur.com/BrF9O.jpg]

It's a nice movie with a nice story but the Black Swan was a lot more fun imo. I don't understand why this movie won all the oscars this year.

I watched The Postman Always Rings Twice last night. It has one of the best femme fatale scenes in film noir. What a bitch

Warby i completely disagree with you on many of them. Bolded are films that i consider to be great. At least there are some overlaps with the ones that you like so our tastes are only like 90% different Ingmar Bergman is my favourite director btw. I have seen almost his entire filmography.

Overall it was really good. I'm a sucker for cop shows like this and the Shield. Some of the emotional reasoning bits felt very forced though.
