Play the mod or look it up on youtube

    I can't just ask then? I see.

Offcourse you can ( and you did )

But in this rare occasion there is actually a mod you can try out, and get your own impression, wich is always better than reading about it.

You're really underestimating how lazy dux is though.

Of course I'm totally buying it, I just wanted to see what it would be described as.

"an experiment" is how i'd describe it, both as a game and a way of telling a story.

come to think of it, i don't know which of those two it's closer to.

January, 2012: Forbes writes about indie games and experimental Half-Life 2 mods.

    That's it. We're done here.

I can't wait for this, even if it is short.

I always love being sucked into places and any game that was designed to value exploration in mind. Afterall, why else would I be on these forums if I didn't like that

Has anyone played call of the fireflies for crysis? Very similar vibes - pure exploration and puzzle gameplay with a high emphisis on developing atmosphere. I've alway wanted to make maps/mods like that

Wow call of the fireflies looks awesome, thanks Korjax !

I cant wait for Dear Esther, its pretty much the only game I'm looking forward to playing this year.

I think most people around here have played Call of the fireflies since Corwin made it.

    Awesome stuff indeed

Haven´t followed Dear Esther too much. I´ve found hype to be a bad thing, usually. Looking forward to playing it, I´ll see what it´s about then

Looks super-boring. What do you do in the game? No weapons?

    Just kidding, looking great, Rob!
