MP is good so far. Forgot how fucking awesome Warzone is. All about objectives. Not even giving a shit about my K:D at all. Also mechs stomping around in mutli is pretty terrifying.

Was ok other than not knowing who's left Rico or whoever was referencing. Why this game wasn't playing as the Helghast though is beyond me. Most interesting aspect of the universe reserved for just cutscenes and being stabbed in the eye.

I haven't tried mp yet. But Im hearing great things. Looking forward to playing it this week. I wanted to finish the campaign first. Combat is so much better than the 2nd.

    So many cutscenes :G

But the shooting is way better, yeah.

Yup, the fade to black gets annoying, they could have at least cut directly to them but I guess they haven't figured that out yet.

The ending was really weak, and kinda stupid :/

and you can tell the last half of the cutscenes were rushed to ship the game early

Ugh damn fade to blacks for cutscenes? Hate those in an FPS =/, feels clunky/lazy.

Finished the campaign and played a bit of multiplayer. Not terribly impressed by it. It looks great, even though it definitely isn't the most diverse in terms of environments (with exception of the jungle level). I found myself dying a lot in really obscure places, maybe because I still didn't find the cover system very useful and mainly played it like a traditional shooter. To me the core firefight gameplay just didn't hold up that well, and although the mechanics are definitely superior compared to the KZ2, then I had more fun playing that. Oh and the story was a joke to put it mildly. Also stumble on a few bugs through the game, progression being halted because characters had frozen in their spot, unable to get to some area to activate a cutscene, and lots of weird audio stuff too.

The multiplayer is definitely where it's at for me. Had a couple of really good matches, still love the dynamic objective stuff, makes for some exciting changes in pace throughout a match, amazing not more games are doing this stuff. Most of the maps are pretty cool too, apart from the snow oilrig map that just caused one frustrating experience after another every time I played it.

Overall then it feels like a somewhat flat package compared to KZ2, but still a pretty good game.

Good review Maz, I thought the same thing on alot of what you said, although I thought it was far better than KZ2. For me, KZ2 was really boring.I thought KZ3's store was pretty good, Reminded me a bit of Starwars: Shadows of the Empire but with that WW2 vibe going on. I'm not sure what you were expecting after KZ2 . Reko's narrative is pretty much garbage like usual and the rushed cut scenes/story towards the end was rough and very weak. The end was a big disappointment though. KZ3 and Bulletstorm have almost the same endings, but identical outcomes lol.

As for KILLZONE3, I actually don't recall if the second game had any direct updates for single player mode(definitely a few for multi-player), so I am a bit serious doubts code editing / changes in the third. I do not care to be more agile (lets face it, KILLZONE2 was one of the slowest walk / run speed FPS).
