Why I have a feel, that you can buy the expansions 2 weeks in advance, you don't automatically get them if you're in that premium-club bullshit thing.

Yeah but it will pay for all the DLCs so you will probably save money compared to buying the DLCs separately. As someone who loves BF3 and plays daily this is a definite purchase for me.

Certainly better than Call of Duty Elite ... but same idea D:

Annual Call of Duty Elite membership costs $50... Sounds about the same to me tbh.

I thought it was a pretty good deal (cost-wise) until I heard of holding content from regular users for 2 weeks, don't agree with that at all.

Anyways, I suppose I shouldn't take a firm stance on this  Seems good and a bit bad at the same time, oh well that's how marketing goes.

There will be 20 (!) new maps, new game modes, new weapons, vehicles, character skins, etc. - plus you get early access to all of it. That's quite a crap load of content. Sounds like a good deal to me. Then again I play this game daily, if I only played occasionally I probably wouldn't bother either.

    Also, for comparison:

    BF 1942 was 50$ expansions 25$-30$ x2

    Total cost 110$

    BF2 50$ Special Forces Expansion 30$ Boosters 15$x2

    Total Cost 110$

    BF3 60$ Bf3 Premium $50

    Total Cost 110$
