-
Oh my FUCK
-
HOLY FUC*! That was wargasm
-
Haha its just like with HL2 from E3 2003, if you get my reference

-
well, it's in-engine and looks fantastic. the animations and quality of the sound and lighting..
i don't really care if the whole thing was scripted, just as long as they achieve a similar atmosphere in the final game.
-
definitely felt very staged !
but i am convinced the final real gameplay experience will be close enough to this ... so: LOVE
-
i love that they made so much out of position and realism with narrow passages etc. though it's kind of contrasted when he gets outside and starts running and gunning?

-
Lit particles looked really cool. I've been fucking FOREVER since a new graphical feature bragged about in a game impressed me (I think it was the dynamic light and shadow detail added to Source circa the Orange Box), and that impressed me. Come to think of it, it's pretty much always a new lighting/shadowing feature that makes me go "Wow"
Like the first time I saw Max Payne 2's pixel shaders and soft character shadows that appropriately became clearer or fuzzier when I would get closer or farther from the floor as I dived around in slo mo.Their example was over the top but I can easily see it used for stuff like fire and flares lighting up smoke, or street lamps lighting fog at night.

The BF3 announcement and Crysis 2 demo has got me playing a lot of BC2 again. Today, in one match, I got a general level, a medic level, two lifetime achievement medals (100 headshots and 100 assists), and two gun achievement stars.

-
that is commendable. i'm sure you'd be a general by now if you had entered the military just a few years ago!
-
I'm level 12 and still get annoyed when some level 50 guy with some fancy gun I've never heard of kills me, even though with all the shit I've unlocked so far have been super incremental. My favorite of the medic LMGs I've unlocked was the second one that you get around the same time you unlock the paddles.
-
TBH the weapons don't really get better as you go.
I have unlocked all of the weapons since you know, I've played a shitload and these are the ones I use mainly (I do switch it up a little from time to time):
Assault: XM8 Prototype
Medic: Type 88 LMG
Engineer: 9A91
Sniper: SV98
As you can see, they are all relatively early unlocks. I believe that you should have all of the above at LVL12 if you have played all classes roughly equally.
-
oh well...
guess my sarcasm was lost here
