Wow, extremely well put together and quite a nice little story to boot! Obviously it has it's flaws presumably being a student work, but it so perfectly evokes the unique HL2 atmosphere for me I can't possibly start picking at it.

Actually reminded me how awesome the game was. They totally nailed the feel of the game with some bits, like when he gets to the old industrial building which almost looks like it was custom made for HL2.

That just takes the top spot as best Half Life 2 short ever made.

One of the coolest HL-inspired movies. Nicely done!

This one is much better and have the half life felling. I dont know why in beyond black mesa, left 4 dead zombies are here...

Left 4 Dead zombies, fight logic (hey, let me just drop that crowbar before we continue fighting), random editing and a camera with much too wide DoF, making it look like a TV Documentary.

It's cool and the Post and Colorgrade is fine but after the trailer I expected more.

The l4d zombies were odd and out of place being as it's supposed to be HL. The fighting scene seriously reminded me of the fight scene between Scorpion and Johnny Cage in the first MK movie; not what I want feel when watching something half life related.

All in all I'd say it's good but some areas just felt out of place.

almost stopped watching halfway but managed to watch it all the way through - entertaining.

    great fx if it's indie.

I had trouble watching this to the end. I mean it's very well shot and all that but overall very boring and gets repetitive. Worked better as the short version they released before.

This. Also the combine with the katana was very lame. Escape From City 17 is unbeaten.

they are all great from the " they went for it and did it" stand point. <--- and i have nothing but respect for that !

but they are all poorly acted and directed.

i still prefer this one over all the other ones:

mostly because there isnt any "acting" in it and its only half-life inspired and not straight up fan-faction !
