Made this little short video with my point and shoot camera, pretty bonkers what you can do these days with such a small camera,

The upload to vimeo introduced some quite strong iso noise, been researching it and I can pretty much eliminate it with a combination of a plugin + render settings, all a part of the learning process

Snaped a few pictures with my phone of the sunset in northern sweden while I was out on a walk.
Right now the only sunlight here is a constant sunrise that then goes over to being a sunset then followed by darkness. But the little time that the sun is shining during the day is truly beautiful.

Tested out my camera with the timelapse app, worked really well, the timelapse itself is not great, no moving clouds or subjects, but still worth a share, this is epic's HQ btw. 15gb's of data for 6 seconds timelapse D: but it is taken at native 8k resolution :o

Gaah shitty youtube. In a small window I get a lot of aliasing due to downscaling, so I try to go fullscreen, but it's taking 5 seconds to fucking fade in and replaying just fails. Anyway how long intervals between each photo?
-
Yeah youtube did some funky stuff with the compression, the source file (youtube settings) is clean as a whistle. I think, ironically it's too detailed for youtube even at 4k O.o, look at the road on the bottom left at the start, It's about 5 seconds between each photo, over about 30 mins, but I speed up the final results by about 30%
Think I will have to play with actually smoothing out the results, unless they improve their codecs

La photo de la plage Corse "sauvage" est superbe :).
It feels so serene and soothing.

Would you mind linking to the Facebook/challenge page? My GF would be interested in those types of challenges

Thanks. Well, I was invited to do it. It's like a chain you know, so your girlfriend should be called by one of her friend who is doing it. It's not official at all
