So glad you liked it bro! You know I'm not the worlds biggest patriot but if there's something I'm proud is the beauty of the land where I was born. And the food, the rest... is as bad as you can expect, lol.
francezinhas for all!
portugal is indeed beautiful, but full of zombies in burberry.
been shooting loads of timelapse in frankfurt, I'm slowly putting together a shot movie all city style, here be a frame ... looks sweet in motion ![]()

Would love to see the horizon on that one, did you crop it?
yeah, the movie starts there and ends up with the horizon ![]()
you make me miss frankfurt
did you do movements in the timelapse and if so - how did you balance them?
so, I picked the time about 30 mins after sunset, so it's basically twilight already, then, using full manual (manual whitebalance, exposure and focusing etc) I setup the exposure so it starts capturing a little over exposed, the exposure time is about 5 seconds, so I setup the intervalometer to take a shot every 7 seconds or so, which gives time for the sensor to cool down ![]()
After about 160 shots, it's now darker, but still acceptable exposure to work with, sunsets really are a bitch for timelapse, the distance to the subjects is far away, so the movement (trails) are not that long, when played back it looks cool
I also edit the middle frame of the sequence, this gives a pretty good reference point for post processing, then I sync all raw files to the edited frames settings using lightroom, then export TIF's, quite a monstrous process
When you are going to put the resulting footage online? ![]()
prob in a few months when Im done capturing enough footage, takes freaking ages ;O
some new ones from Scotland
