This thread makes me feel old.. first game I ever played was Lode Runner. Probably around 1985 or so. Got me into level design; me and my brothers would make more and more difficult levels for each other to complete. Good times...

Some sesame street game for the C64 or Super Mario Bros. on NES. I don't know which came before the other, I was around 3 or 4.

I think my first memory of playing a video game comes in as a tie between Alley Cat (1984), and riddle of the Sphinx (1982) I must have played them when they were on their way into obscurity, as I was one when Alleycat came out, and no-one in my family owned any video game stuff, until I was about 7.
