Right now the TASBot is remote executing code on a SNES via Link To The Past to draw a fucking FMV of a Portal speedrun frame by frame, and the chat is half convinced they're somehow actually running Portal on a SNES. This is the best thing by far from this entire marathon.
I was actually thinking about having a GDQ thread, but I guess it's a bit late. DRAM world was HYPE

That's true -through and through- just saying that I didn't mind too much

I'm not judging, but I feel like Far Cry 4 depicts indian drivers pretty accurately.

Overcooked. Pretty fun game. I can imagine relationship therapists using this on couples.

Since we are generalizing, are they better or worse than eastern-European drivers?

-
@Pampers Let's say they're both very "resourceful" when it comes to driving.

Currently playing ori and the blind forest, titan souls and stories: path of destiny.

Binding of Isaac is now available on ipad, my toilet visits now last 200% longer

Finished ori and the blind forest. Pretty decent game overall, I like how the game progresses most of the time and the challenges you face for the abilities are great. I just wish they would have made it so you don't have to almost complete the game to get all the abilities, would have been amaze to see them try to put all of the abilities together in some gauntlet style execution loops. Still, great game.

Tried the beta for the new ghost recon game. Really wanted this game to be good, but overall the controls and handling are so bad. Overall it gave a feeling of being unpolished
Such a shame since this game have so much potential. -
I finished Far Cry 4's main story a couple of days ago, but I still have some side quests and two dlcs left to complete. While the story was more elaborate than in previous games, I didn't find it that convincing. Though, I liked how the relationship between Amita, Sabal and Ajay evolves throughout the game. That was one of the better parts of the narrative. As for gameplay, it's pretty much what you'd expect from a Far Cry game: run and gun bad guys with some poaching on the side. It's fun to blow up your enemies with a grenade launcher while you pilot "the bad ass mini chopper". The freedom of movement certainly adds to that experience, but I've found out that there can be too much of that. The game will have you traverse the world from top to bottom again and again. It's true that you can have fun on the way, but the environment is just more of the same, with very few memorable locations, and after a while it just wears out. Hence why there are quick travel locations and auto driving.. I'm not a fan of those as I've seen games that manage to do well without them - like the stalker series for instance. Oh yeah, I absolutely hated the eagles. They're on my list among the kleers and creepers. Overall, the game has it's moments and you can have fun unloading your weapons, but I feel like it's trying to be grander than it is. You could probably cut the world in half, condense the story and have a more memorable experience.

I have done nothing but play Path of Exile since the middle of December. That is all. Now excuse me, I am about to get face raped by mobs yet again and see my XP bar disappear.
-

Really hated it at first, but you get used to it after spending some time with the game and now I don't mind it at all. There are item apps you can use in combination too

Been playing Solitairica on iPhone....A LOT (pretty much only play phone games these crunch filled days, except for Overwatch once in a while). Absolutely love this game, and I've never really cared about regular Solitaire at all. It's basically using Solitaire rules but with some RPG hooks and special powers, crazy addictive stuff once you get the hang of it

After almost 50 hours, I've finished Mad Max. A bit too much busy work, but overall a great game that I thoroughly enjoyed!

Well done @Sprony! I liked it a lot, first game I actually spent time in the photo editor as well. Such a stunning sandbox to explore, I loved it. Game was very repetitive and lots of grinding, but must tip the hat to the designers: every outpost was different! Every place had a story of its own. Inspiring. I regret not tackling more storyline missions because I have been grinding away and could've had better engine much earlier.

I'm playing Lego Batman 2 with my girlfriend – which is interesting as it's making me think of working on concepts for co-op experiences.
I finished Inside last night, in my second session. It's an awesome game that everybody should play.
Also I get my quick fixes playing Furious Angels, the game I helped on a bit and of imminent release.

Finally finished a game which was on my backlog for about 15 years. Resident Evil 1. I played the ps4 hd version and just beat the game as Jill.
The game holds up surprisingly well. Really great game. Awesome blend of adventure and horror elements. I think I'll do another play through with Chris and maybe even go for the 3 hour trophy.
One thing I was super surprised about was how good this game looks. It's an HD version of a remake from the early 2000's but it still looks really really good. Obviously part of this is due to the game environment being somewhat pre-rendered but even then it still looks really good. They have lots of nice little touches of motion which I'm guessing is done by super-imposing some real 3d elements with high res textures/shaders over the world.
I'm looking forward to the RE2 remake that's supposed to come out any day now. It seems it's never been a better time to play the RE series.
