You guys looking forward to USFIV? I know I am.

Been playing a lot of SSFIVAE lately in a feeble attempt to up my execution, and also because I'm getting hyped by USFIV a LOT.

Also, Wasteland 2 Beta which kicks huge amounts of ass.

I've been playing a ton of SF4. Hit me up on steam or PSN for a few games.

As for me, I main Makoto, Chun-li and now Evil Ryu. All of them are scheduled to have buffs in USFIV.

I hear Maokoto's Fukiage now hits a standing opponent, for me that's HUGE.

Have they made it so you can command throw after dash punch without a kara cancel yet? :/

I hear a lot of the new characters are broken. Broken in the not working sense with hitboxes in random places like a homage to ST T.Hawk.

But get hype for Cammy in a Vega mask for fifth character.

Yeah, Hugo is ridiculous right now, but from what I understand the location tests have always had brutal hitboxes and were buggy as hell. Actually apparently now Hugo cn infinte from low short to hand clap.

Are you talking about Makoto being able to command grab after a Hayate or just generally running in and dash-punching? I don't think there's any changes for either actually. You don't think it would be a little too easy to apply pressure if you can command grab without any frame penalty and no EX usage?

Also Cammy in a Vega mask? :X

Also on the note, anybody else watch the capcom cup last weekend? There were some crazy good matches. My man Haitani almost made it too, Gen is just brutal to deal with though.

I usually play on PC because of convenience... and also because my PS3 isn't connected to the interwebs currently I usually play Evil Ryu, Ryu, Akuma or T. Hawk, though recently I've been getting into Seth as well.

As for Ultra, it's gonan be another few months before release, they're probably gonna patch it up real good before release. A buddy of mine went to Dreamhack and got to try it, says it's an improvement over AE.

If any of you have more infoz plx post, ESPECIALLY on the new character. Although I'm probably picking up Rolento in Ultra.

    EDIT:

I didn't watch the Capcom Cup unfortunately, but the Dreamhack Daigo beatdown was glorious

It's how she worked in Third-Strike. I certainly would like to see more pressure in this game.

One of the leaks for the fifth character is Decapre, another Cammy clone like Juni and Juli, but who has yet to be playable. She fights with a Vega's mask and claws. She's my favourite of all the rumours because she's copy and paste job.

Now you've got me wanting to play 3rd strike. I never tried doing that grab after a hayate but I am looking for options. Same thing when finishing a spinning bird kick for chun. It's hard to find something totally safe without a cancel.

    My review on Steam:

    Quote

The quality of the puzzle level design of this game is INSANE!

Really smart puzzles that don't make you feel lost. Innovative gameplay mechanics. You use an ancient "hammer tool" to control a huge ball in many different ways to kill enemies and solve puzzles, while altering its properties (fire, electricity, gravity etc). Huge environments and great sense of scale.

The only things I would criticize are the invisible walls, which are not so consistent. Some puzzles make you go through very narrow passages, and other times you are unable to walk through wider spaces.

This game is a must. Stop reading this and PLAY IT!

i got it for android a while back. That game is one hell of a treadmill. Kind of like a popular kongregate game.

I've finished A Link Between Worlds but I've started again on Hero Mode. Pretty much everything I said before was WRONG and I read it back with shame. As soon as you get past the introduction it's full-on LTTP fanservice and dungeon design gets much better. Item renting always feels a bit weird, but seems like the best way to handle the more freestyle nature of the game.

I searched the Internet to see if ALBW not handling death by popping you back at the last door you went through as if nothing had happened meant it was basically Dark Souls. The Internet did not disappoint, although it was mostly comments and a lengthy IGN preview. Incidentally I died 5 times on my first play through and I wasn't tryharding or anything: it's not hard, it just sucks more if you die. Which you won't. Unless you play video games for a living, I guess.

Also playing Super Mario 3D Land which I got free with Zelda, which is the 3DS one (so not Super Mario 3D World). It's really good and I love the way Mario and Zelda just drop in little stage and dungeon gimmicks you could make an entire 20 hour game out of (ideally with a narrator firing every other step), so on one level platforms are synced to the music and on another there are platforms that change whenever you jump. I like it. There are some annoying jumps due to him taking a while to get moving though? Maybe I'm just being crap.

It's a sin that I haven't played FC3: Blood Dragon before. It'a really nice game, it's a well designer and funny as hell! The one problem is with that save block at the start, sad thing that there was no other way. That somehow shows up how messy the engine/scripting system is...

    Mmh.

Don't have an iOS or other platform to try it, i trust you... so many of the mobile games are. From the trailer looks like a fun game to play anyways though. (I played a hell of a lot of Jetpack Joyride without paying a dime on my Blackberry Playbook, and it's most definitely a treadmill.)

Ridiculous Fishing didn't entertain me for weeks but it was cents well spent. Fun mobile game.

I have played and finished Bioshock Infinite over the holidays. Fantastic game world, great companion character and a very confusing ending.

I blame Hearthstone for not finishing more games. The first card battler I am thoroughly enjoying. Blizzard is at it again!

That is the best part: it is not (to me at least). It's like chess. Very strategic. Luck is a component (so maybe it's more similar to Poker) and there is the occasional match when you just throw up your arms and scream "unfair!" but a good, balanced deck and strategic thinking is more important. There are different playstyles, classes and a leveling system but the fact that you can casually play it on a laptop, on the couch has been a factor for me, too. Should be perfect for tablets.
