Awesome, I just finished a new playthrough a couple months back.

I've never even tried any of the sequels. Are they worth playing?

Dungeon Keeper 2 is certainly worth your time, but it's not as good in my opinion.

I didn't say it was bad I said it wasn't as good as the original. It lost a lot of its subtle character in place of the "look at the mistress and her hot ass".

The game is also much slower and doesn't have the charm of DK1. The graphics are still incredibly nice though and some of the mission designs are awesome.

Why play the old Dungeon Keeper when you can play the knew one with free-to-play energy mechanics? You guys are so elitist.

    I played Gone Home.

    I didn't really.

I bought Humble Bundle 9 for Mark of the Ninja and Trine 2 and did what I always do after buying a bundle and proceeded to play none of the games in it. I did, however, realise I could link all my past purchases on Steam and one of those was Cave Story+, which I decided I should have completed and, relevant to this thread, played.

I have played the original but have never past the house where you meet Curly Brace. But now I've played it about twice as far and, damn, this is a lot darker than I was expecting. I'm already in love with the universe, though.

Starts off with you teleporting from a rabbit city to a corridor of dragon eggs fighting nauseatingly cute enemies. Now the city is empty, almost everyone I have met is dead, and the dragons that aren't dead in their smashed eggs are walking around with their eyes bleeding. Holy shits.

Somebody posted a video of System Shock 2 gameplay and I want to play it again now... so quick question, does the XP/win7 patch work fine with the original 1999 version of the game? I heard it wasn't official and some people still have issues...

Yes its fine. Or just you know, get it on GoG.com or Steam and not worry about any compatibility issues.

yeah I repeatedly bought troika games because I liked them so much. I thought I could single handedly keep the company from going under apparently.

trying to pay some bf3, but god damn does that game have a gnarly, trollish community of little psychopaths. seriously thinking about ditching it since almost every server i visit has some homo either destroying their own teams' vehicles, retards ramming anything they can hit with fighter jets or people screaming meaningless shit

if anyone knows a good server (playing from the netherlands) i'd be more then happy to try it out tho, game itself is amazing and full of win. :/

You're unlucky, I was playing BF3 MP for the first time few days ago and each play was fun except that one TDM level that looks like docks/port with containers and one building that looks like a hangar. I was easy target there with crapy weapon, I thought that I'm the only guy that's a beginer there.

BTW Right now I'm playing Syndicate and it's not so bad game as reviews say. Some things fail there but it is possible to like this game (except that glow bloom). It could be a nice game if had few more months to polish... I see that publisher was pressing the team, it went a bit uninspired.
