bought rise of the triad, skullgirls and shadowrun

only played skullgirls so far but man is it ever fun. Loving it so far. Also Double is a nutbar character. She's like Shumagorath on acid.

Which version of Skullgirls are you playing? The PC beta version, which will be patched onto console version with Squigly, is doing some really cool changes. Making it more about deciding between damage and resets rather than getting both - I really wanted to get into SG's but the year-long combo into 16f reset into death of SDE was a bit of a turn-off.

I've also been playing DotA2 and watching the international. I've found the douchenozzle ratio is much better than I found in League, but I'm only at 20-odd games and it's supposedly in the middle of the pool you get the characters.

i'm playing the beta, bought it on steam.

Also are you on my steam? This is my profile. If you want to play some Dota2 some time hit me up. I think we are similar skill level.

Added. We can play some DotA and Skullgirls (I hear GGPO even keeps it smooth across the pond). I'd need to put some time in, though!

I really love this. It doesn't pull any punches but really rewards you if you do things right. It's mostly based around you having a strong dodge, 8-way airdash, a high DI wall slam, and a super bar. As far as I'm aware all the graphics, code and design are done by one dude over ~5 years, but he's not good at is marketing. A few days after "release" it he kinda revealed sales of 13 and I know who four of those were... You could totes pick it up here: http://tylerdoak.com/aceswild/

Been playing Divekick, and honestly it's just damn good fun. Probably the best fighting game I've ever played (even though I LOVE SFIV). It's really fighting reduced to reads and simple moves.

If anyone wants to play hit me up on steam, sentura

Played To The Moon. Very overrated imo, this game is almost 100% dialogue and it's not very well written unfortunately. Very unbelievable conversations, definitely from the kids perspectives which sort of gets the whole story arch rolling (or derailing). It's sort of a visual novel with an incompetent writer. Mood and music is awesome though! It was sort of interesting but in the end it didn't come together for me.

Wasn't bad, wasn't good. Ok, meh.

Lately I have mostly been playing KOTOR (yeah the 2003 one) and I am overall really enjoying it. There is a lot of bad design choices, in particular in terms of UI, but considering it is 10 years old it is quite respectable still. Mostly I regret that I played Mass Effect before this one, as it feels like an earlier edition of Mass Effect in so many ways. So anyone who somehow haven't played ME yet, do yourself a favor and play KOTOR first!

Good? I thought the preview stuff made it seem overly gimmicky.
