I've just gotten to a point where the puzzles are a bit tough, so I'm taking a little break while I map. Fun atmosphere, really pleasant art direction too.

I did. Got bored of the time out bug they had and haven't gone back.

A little way through Metro 2033 for the third time, love it so much! I've finally got my hands on a boxed copy of Last Light so I'll be playing that next

I've found that this is literally impossible. In my experience when trying to to this it always end yp with LoL being easier in so many regards, and you get the same high when playing it so people who already play LoL will always complain that dota 2 is too hard.

My main complaint with DOTA is how "far" everything is. Every skills's distance is further so people are further apart, locations are further apart... It's so extremely inconvenient, I already dislike having to pan my camera in LoL, let alone in DOTA

Well, everyone is finding League stale right now (it's a meta-conforming, gap-closing bruiser with no resource!) so it’s a good time to try and jump to something else. I think everyone appreciates that DotA is the deeper and richer game, but you need to go through that comp-stomping initiation process.

To be honest, even with Leagues shorter skill ranges it’s better to have the camera unlocked and biased towards where the action is. Getting used to controlling your character in the side of the screen is a pain, though. I've been forcing myself to play characters like Enchantress so learn the jungle and micromanagement. Fortunately, I have no subjected people I don’t know to this yet.

That's the point at which I stopped playing the game, never to around to finishing it. Played through Last Light though and enjoyed it.

Currently playing COJ Gunslinger, pretty good fun actually, I like the duelling sections

I agree, it's pretty shitty design but if you shoot the things that spawn the spores until they explode, they don't appear anymore. By this time you should have plenty of "good" ammo, so use that because you wont be needing it to trade anymore. Also use grenades on some of the spores on ground level to clear the way quicker...

Just finished Sniper Elite V2, was alright, nothing special though.

I've only played a handful of games of League but is it uncommon practice to play the mini map or is there just no advantage to it?

I've played both! Lucky me!

throw out Syndicate and move Spec Ops TL more over the top, i would say below Batman, and if you havn't played add BioShock Infinite and Dishonored
