I'm not playing this game because it's not out. But making a new thread for its announcement seemed overkill for various reasons. So yeah, I'm knowing posting in the wrong place. Call the cops!

There's tonnes of stuff in here for the ubernerd. They show a bunch of techniques from the existing game to show they've not been removed (and thus the game engine has not been simplified), and visually the character animations seems to jump fast between key-frames representing the sprites from the 2D game. Looks kind of weird at first but it's grown on me really quick.

I'm actually playing Neverwinter. Which is a silly game with silly stuff.

After some weeks of grinding over Batman Arkham City and its challenges, yesterday I moved to Trials HD... man this is one of the hardest games ever! Level designers really put their best to have people come up with new ways of swearing

Oh man I'm STILL playing MK9. I"m halfway through the bonus tower on vita.

There are some insanely annoying levels that use the motion controls and the touch screens but I'm getting close to finishing it then getting platinum shouldnt be too hard. This may be the first game I get platinum in.

I tried with SF4 but daaaamn that one is way too hard.

OMG dead Space 3 is huge !! Already 15 hours of play and I'm not at the end. Also the game said I was a 65%, I don't beleive it

I really like this game, at first I was really scared about the implementation of human enemies but there are only a few of them, and most in a battle with some necros. They just deserve the storytelling.

So good game so far I like the craft system. Just having 1 type of ammo looks really dumb at first but I guess making an ammo system with the craft system should be silly. I have now 2 weapons upgraded that save me from a lot of disturbing deaths Using mecas to get some extra res is really important if you want the upgrade because the game, in Hard, IS hard (yeah looks, Tomb Raider !!!) I can't imagine how Impossible is

But story is shit a bit.

I'm currently mesmerized by XCOM: Enemy Unknown. I simply can't stop playing it. It's so immersive. Every time I start it I'm thinking: I need money to buy another satellite I need to capture an Alien for interrogation, I need to reduce the panic levels in Africa, I need to research better armor, I need more soldiers, oh crap....6 hours past well just one more Interceptor upgrade and......

Finally finished Dead Space 3, in 22 hours wich is really huge !!! And it's not like i was taking a lot of time. Also, after that you can play, coop with 3 extra mission... play like the first dead space... play in Impossible and hard core mode. great content !!!

The end was epic, the story is a bit WTF but still, make sense with the two other Dead Space I think.

Beat the bonus tower on MK9 and gold trophied that bizznatch.

To get the platinum I have to win a bunch of online matches which is impossible because I am literally the only person who plays mk9 in japan.

    oh well, one month...

I find it funny, and sad at the same time that back then when i seen gunman on a cover of pc gamer magazine i didnt had money, or interest, or just could get the game.

but what a feeling it was, im talking about 2001 or so.. anyway i played this game.. just got started. its cool..

I finally went back to La-Mulana and finished it. While playing I’ve created a small journal of puzzle combinations, notes, tablets, half new language and symbol meanings. I know this isn’t for everyone, which is why Uncharted focus tests have presumably prompted them to tell you the answer to “puzzles” on the approach, but I found it pretty fun.

Honestly, I did brute force some puzzles and peek at a guide a couple of times. These were actually obscure enough I didn’t feel like I’d thrown away hours of puzzle solving by cheating, especially because the second time even the people who had solved it had no idea how it worked.

I didn’t know I had to buy weights from Little Brother for the other shop to appear so I could get the key item there. I must’ve wasted hours running around trying to find what to do next... And nobody seems to know what the wedge positions correspond with – as “offset between cross and boss door” is actually wrong for some of them.

There are other challenges like beating it under ten hours, beating the bosses without using sub-weapons, beating it on hard and a secret field. That’s probably two separate play-throughs with a bundle of frustration, though!

I know Metroid and Castlevania aren’t a million miles away but La-Mulana feels pretty unique. Obviously it’s based on Maze of Galious and is inspired by many other games but the core experience feels pretty original.
