I don't want to critique this guys work but i think that arch in the background should be a bit thicker, its very unrealistic. Everything else is stellar.

Find some time to play Crysis 3, and like it, but tbh it feels a lil bit boring, but looks stunning !

Taking a break from Swtor and Planetside 2 for a while. I picked up Guild Wars 2, its not as good as Swtor, but its quiet fun/different, and a good change of pace for a while.

Also got Bioshock Infinite, so that will be enjoyed in 2 days

Got Tomb Raider for PS3 this Saturday evening. heard good things about it, and that it's the closest thing to uncharted released thus far.

And omg is the game good, I really am having a blast. This is uncharted gameplay, mixed with a little stealth, loads of exploration, looting, some RPG elements (which really add a lot) and a interesting enough story that gets you going. Guess my expectations were mild, and I got a much better game that I expected, really worth it to get it full price, I wanna see more of this!

After playing it for a couple hours, I started a new game on easy and gave it to my wife to play, she got hooked to the game which is something I don't see happening very often. She literally had tears down her face for a few minutes after having to kill that deer for the first time so Lara can survive and eat, that's so very awesome. We have come along way since the days of a plumber fetching coins man, and that scene alone really reminded me of it!

Finally had a chance to play Brutal Legend.

As usual, the story, setting and art are really the high selling points of the game. It's a fantastical world that Double Fine created and I enjoyed every little bit of it.

As far as the gameplay goes, I think it could have a better polishing. The mix of strategy, hack-and-slash, vehicle sequences and world exploration was very hard to pull off, and ended up with an ultimately bad balanced game.

Some missions and gameplay sequences are a breeze (the races, vehicle pursuit sequences, the side-missions where you are atop a tower or the mortar missions) are all extremelly easy and require almost no skill to be completed. The hack-and-slash bosses and sequences (the spider dungeon, the beginning of the game and the boss fights) are the best balanced of them all, although the lack of depth to the gameplay really hurts.

The strategy missions, being the core central gameplay mechanic of the game, are wildly unbalanced. On the sneak attacks where you get a fixed set of troops and enemies to fight with the difficulty is simply wild, either becoming almost a no-brainer or these puzzle-like engagements where everything must happen according to the plan. The stage vs stage attacks on the other hand have to be played in the exact same manner of building up a huge force and bulldozing over your opponent. It becomes extremelly hard to come back if you lose a few units and resources in the start of the match, as the enemy has really nothing from stopping it of simply running over to your base and killing everything that spawns in seconds (including you).

Overall it was a good game and I had a great time with it. Such a shame it could have been glorious with a couple more months of polish. But that's talking out of my ass.

i started playing postal 2.. but then i think i had to quit it.

because.. it was a little bit too (extreme) for my taste.

pissing on humans, assaulting someone with a shovel, throwing fire on people.. etc.etc

its funny but then it gets serious.. so i cant take games like this.

FINALLY beat level 300 in the MK9 tower. that took me like 3 weeks. I think I can put MK9 aside for a while now. Not sure what I'm gonna play next on my game stack.

I've been playing some Monster Hunter Unite lately. It's quite fun but I wish I had someone to play it with.

God damn I need to get some gaming done. Not been able to play anything since finishing Dishonored as I've been so busy with moving. My desire to play Bioshock Infinite is burning so hot right now. So hot.

I started to play bioshock... and it was meh at the beginning... and then started to be cool... But this weekend i went to visit my parents, and restarted to play SC:HOTS... and man... played about 10 missions in a row, without leaving the chair. So amazing....
