    No no no and no, U1's

    Quote

    zombies

    are ridiculously tough... they move fast and it only takes about 3 swipes and you're dead! I got so fucked off at the bit in

    the German bunker

    where they just constantly respawn, I swear I must have killed about 50 of them before I made it out with barely any ammo remaining! U2's

    Quote

    blue guys

    are slower and easier to avoid because they don't come right at you... U1 was almost ruined because of those damn grey shits... so not fun.

    The trick is to not use the aim down the sight, just press R1, bullets will somehow always hit in their direction. But I agree they were some really nasty fucks.

    Yes!

    The conversations in the game between enemies are loltastic, like one where one german guy is talking about moving into a new house and decorating the bedroom.. I almost feel bad when I put a bullet between their eyes

    The bit in the

    where the two scientists are embarking in a passionate embrace and you walk in and they pretend nothing was happening was brilliant too (can't find a video).

    Such a loooong game as well, it literally lasted me over 2 weeks first time I played.

    NOLF2 is pretty good as well, graphically massively more pretty looking... India looks phenominal. Most memorable part was

    I used spoiler tags because I thought some people might not know they go monster-monster at the end

    I actually meant in regards to the story (I know I don’t usually do this). The zombie guys were a nice twist in U1 and related to the cursed treasure you’ve been chasing. In U2 you knew a monster was coming, you got these cool demon things, and they turned out to be lame blue guys in monkey suits because they ate some gloop.

    But gameplay wise the zombies are still better IMO. You just run and gun picking up infinite ammo off the ground. As long as you adapt to the new gameplay style and don’t try to cover shoot they’re easy and it’s a nice change of pace.

    The blue guys are really annoying in the first fight because they instant kill you in the open or up close, forcing you behind cover, but then they randomly decide to drop into your hiding-hole. .

    Funny, I never knew that you could fire from the hip at those things and Drake automatically targets them... so much easier this time around, cheers Helder!

    Btw Tay...

    The sequel is miles more prettier than it's predecessor by far, Japan and India look fantastic! There's also more depth to the stealth mechanics and player statistics which is nice.

    Just started playing SotC HD, defeated 3 colossi so far. Can't say that the 3rd brought anything the first 2 had not covered mechanics wise, so I didn't feel like continuing on to the 4th...then I went out and got myself Arkham City finally. I think I'll start on this now...

    I finally got past that problem area in Dead Space 2, pretty much just spammed all my guns in quick succession plus stasis and I still only just made it through the door! Enjoying the game again now, up to chapter 10 where you're

    back on the Ishimura again, feels strange being back there so soon, like the feeling I had when playing HL: Opposing Force.

    . One thing that really urks me about DS2 is how bodies disappear when there's a lot of them in an area, so you lose any pickups they once had... this happens pretty often when you're fighting off about 20 enemies at a time and don't have the time to stomp corpses because you're too busy shooting limbs off or pressing "x" to not die until your hands bleed :/

    Currently on an Uncharted crusade. The GF just played through the first two with my guidance and it was actually pretty spectacular just watching those games as opposed to playing (already done UC2 twice, once with nothing but tranquilisers) and seeing someone else's reactions to the epic awesomeness that is the entirety of the second game.

    Currently playing through Uncharted 3 myself now that they've sorted out the aiming, very much loving it and the humour seems to have been dialled up even more after UC2 which was already a big increase over UC1. Why so many developers of today still struggle to understand what companies like LucasArts figured out in the 80s and 90s — that humour will make your game stick in the hearts and minds of people for years to come — is beyond me. Give me more funny games!

    I'm playing serious sam 3, or at least trying to. Probably the worst level design I've ever seen in a game, Ive gotten stuck in each level I've played.But it's fun because the core gameplay is pretty much the same as the old serious sams, but some of the new stuff they added in is very questionable design wise which almost made me give up on it (scripted sequences that take away camera control, forced slower movement on interior levels, etc)

    they are just learning from the best, "call of serious duty: 3"

    it has really narrow FOV as well by default. Really wondering why this keeps happening in games today, especially on pc releases.

    tweak the systemsdata.xml file found in ss3bff/programs/apps/userconfigs/tweakdata/configs, after 9 hours of googling on my "rig" i found these settings to drastically improve the settings :

    c_us_screenarea = [8,8,0,0,1]

    view_fieldof_tweakdata = [94]

    ultrarastering=8

    rechaching=no

    widespread_aaoo=7

    now just reboot your rig and get ready to feel the power xD
