I hope the Steam release will feature the extra maps that we're made by the guy who's now on the team. Can't remember his name but he did a new version of Surface Tension and On a Rail. Huge overall improvement to the mod itself and it added a lot of content which was cut originally.

Same. Had no idea he was on the team now, but that seems like a good omen of the chances of those being integrated into the core experience. It'd also add some great value that'd encourage people to buy the Steam version even if they have the free version.

Are future updates still going to be freely released or is it all going to be Steam-only now? I don't have a problem with that, but it should be handled carefully from a PR point of view if so.

So whats going on with this? From moddb it seems they are working on the unreleased part of "on a rail" and "surface tension" and on their forums there is a guy redoing some props?

Just wondering what the status on Xen and multiplayer is

I've completely forgotten about that game. Damn, it's really risky to keep the development of Xen levels and the rest of the content so quietly. Seriously, I lost attention and will to play it again, it was so long ago... I'm worried that there could be some more people like me.

I think I'm due a Half-Life fix soon. If this is about them releasing the full game (mod?) on Steam with Xen then it's a perfect time to take a bit of money from my wallet xD

I read somewhere (don't remember where though) they're still working on Xen, but apparantly they might be releasing the MP part.

I reckon it will be a MP EA release, otherwise the workshop popping up on steam would be a big coincidence.
