I assume part of the point of the Black Mesa mod was to update the original Half Life to a more modern engine, however now that this has been in development for so many years it's showing it's age again, they probably need to start again on a new engine

Jeeez guys, they're doing it for free. Just enjoy it when it comes out and stop being such bitches. I'm sure it'll be full of nostalgia!

sure but i'd even take a half-ready (GET IT) multiplayer demo or some shit over nothing. i mean it could even be done in episodes. i'm not complaining because it's free, but i'm definitely losing interest.

All mods are done for free Pogo, doesn't mean people can't have opinions on them. But yeah I was only joking anyway, never said I wasn't looking forward to playing it

this, you know it is always better have smth smaller but finished, than smth EPIC but unplayable and worthless in some ways

Yeah I understand, I just hate seeing the torrent of hate all the time. I know it's annoying having to wait but I think you guys will enjoy it when its out.

And an MP demo would have been rather cool I guess, just to whet people's appetites! But then again they are a small dev team and may not have the resources to focus on that, when they could be polishing the final game.

I agree with this. A "lite" mp version of the mod released earlier wouldn't hurt
