    Hahaha Ray Sipe is a fucking legend. I just can't understand why he keeps doing these videos, it's like he's a teenager who can't get enough attention. Or just a troll, I have no clue. He's one of the seven wonders.

    Stopped playing this as I got tired of the community, went back to HoN but this time midwars only... at least for now. Less annoying players and oh my god have I missed concede.

    I think all mid is what I was looking for for a long time. It's basically more or less deathmatch with a set amount of skills. If I could I'd probably take an ability draft version of it (or a version that allows hero clones) for the most fun. After 7 years of Dota there really isn't much left to explore in terms of depth, so short and fun matches are the way to go.

    This is the kind of thing that WC3 did so well and from where DotA spawns originally, mods!


    There was team tower defence, there was also hero line wars which was very linear and you could "build" units with money you got from performance (like dota) which were then sent to your enemy's base wihch was quite good


    BUT


    there was also pudge wars... you have not lived until you have played pudge wars


    I would love it if they opened up dota2 to be modded to allow whole sub-genres of gametypes and fun!


    I googled for "Pudge Wars" to find out what it is all about and noticed that a version exists for DotA2: http://d2pudgewars.com/

    The source 2/gamemodes update is next year. Haven't kept up with the mod scene, I hope some people have made some crazy shit.
