give the game a try, I bet you that you'll be interested afterwards for me the perception changed from: no interest at all to "how the f did they go from FPS games to RTS and managed to create this awesomeness". given - it's more or less just a copy of the leg work icefrog did on the warcraft map but it feels like a really solid game and with the "Valve spin" to it there's a lot of polishing on it already and I guess they'll keep polishing it further and further. It's also probably the most addictive game Valve has done so far.

sb just came this patch, so thats probably why he's chosen every game. (He was my favourite hero from Dota, I literally played him 90% of the matches back then so I'm super happy to see him).

I've only seen ns in two games, the first one he owned and the second one he was shit. I havent seen tide in any games this far, and bh is spotted in maybe 50% of the games.

But then again, I usually only play with friends...

It's a shame that you're in Canada, otherwise you could play with us Europeans and have the honor of letting me lose the game for you.

Steam related - finally a mobile app - now waiting for my beta key!

    VALVE ANNOUNCES MOBILE STEAM APP

Closed Beta Available Now For iOS and Android Devices

January 26, 2012 -- Valve, creators of best-selling game franchises (such as Counter-Strike, Half-Life, Left 4 Dead, Portal, and Team Fortress) and leading technologies (such as Steam and Source), today announced the beta release of the Steam application for iOS and Android devices.

With the Steam app, gamers around the world may chat with Steam friends, browse community groups and user profiles, view screenshots and user-generated content for their favorite games, read the latest gaming news, stay up to date on unbeatable Steam sales, and more.

"The Steam app comes from many direct requests from our customers," said Gabe Newell, co-founder and president of Valve. "Seeing which of your friends are online and playing a game, sending quick messages, looking at screenshots for an upcoming game, or catching a sale - these are all features customers have requested. Mobile is changing way people interact, play games and consume media, and the Steam app is part of our commitment to meet customer demands and expand the service functionality of Steam to make it richer and more accessible for everyone."

Those who wish to join the beta just need to download the Steam app (free of charge) and log in to their Steam account via the mobile app to express interest in the beta. Gamers will be added to the Closed Beta as the service ramps up.

Steam is a leading platform for the delivery and management of PC and Mac games with over 40 million accounts around the world and over 1,800 titles offered.

I'm playing at least a game a day, add me if you want my steam is [email protected]

I don't always bother with voice chat, but I have my mic handy should I want to

Suppose it would be fair to note I play on USEast, not sure how my ping would be on europe or w/e.

got you both. I'm fine with playing on US EAST. Just have to be careful with what I pick. Hooking with pudge is close to impossible with 100ms

aim for where they are going, not where they are. there's a lot of small techs you can do with skillshots, which is what makes them beautiful mechanics

yeah I know hehe. But I've noticed that in games with low ping I hit almost every hook, whereas with a small delay I fail pudge so hard.

in general i really love these kinds of games for the pure aspect of mind games that is so prevalent. i guess it's also why i started playing fighting games again. your opponents will always give off small clues to what they're about to do next. sometimes they're easy to read, and sometimes they're very hard, but the clues are there at all times. especially when it comes to using the hook properly, there are a lot of situations to capitalize on if you know how your opponent will react to what you're about to do. one of my favorites is using hook right as they're lasthitting creeps, because their focus is NOT on the hook by then (they think they're covered). and once the focus is gone from you, you're "invisible" to them. sun tzu is all up in this bitch

haha yeah that one is a classic. Also works great with mirana's arrow. Once they last hit that last creep in a creep wave the arrow is already in air and nails them right after.
