Here is my site which I redesigned this year. It shows the projects I've worked on and a blog with my recent activities.

ME is so incredibly beautiful, it must have been fantastic for the artist.

    Anyway impressive portfolio.

The content is great, excellent. But I'd remove half maybe even 3 quarters of the thumbnails. They make my eyeballs want to pop and I'd never look through all of them.

yes lots of great stuff here man, the only thing that pulls me away from the page is that almost all of the thumbnails for your two snow levels look the same. The mirrors edge stuff is really easy to decipher the thumbnails.

hmm valid point indeed, never really thought of it that way.. not sure how to fix it though, maybe have 1 screenshot full size where you can hit "next"? and ditch all thumbnails, if there is such a wordpress plugin..

maybe after I finished Off Limits I'll look into fixing this

One Bigger Picture and smaller Thumbnails next to it. Like Kotaku does it but horizontal aligned.

I updated the top section (BFBC2) with a slide show now. You think this looks better?

Can you take a screenshot of it so I can see whats going on?

I tested it only on IE8 and firefox.

looks like the text is getting cut for some reason. It works fine though.

Well after many debates about what looks better with some people I changed it back to thumbnails. I myself found the thumbnails better as well. As pointed out above the main thing that looked weird was the repetition of the BFBC2 shots, this was mainly because of the weapon in the low right corner (BFBC2 didn't have an option to hide hud and weapon). So I just did the thumbs for those just manually now and took points of interest as the thumbnail. So the repetition is less now.

I do have another question we debated about, as the Blog is being updated a lot more than the Projects page, what do you think should be the main page of the site? Projects or Blog?

Projects. I don't see why any employer would be interested in what the blog says, at least not until they've seen the projects page. Besides, you would want to show them that projects page right away considering the quality content you have there.

Updated my projects page last weekend with final shots of all 3 Off Limits levels I did.

Also did updates on my blog where I added a lot of work in progress shots and text over

the years of working on Off Limits. I also created a FlickrPro account so I could have

the full sized images shown on it from now on without resizing them. For those interested

you can go check it out: http://www.wesleytack.com/

Spent some time over the weekend updating my resume and blog page of my portfolio. I removed it about a year ago because I felt it was too cluttered. You can check out the updates here: http://www.wesleytack.com/?cat=9 Hopefully by this time next year I'll have 2 more game projects finished that I can post as well!
