Nice sountrack and sound-fx! Not really my type of game tho, never been into RTS's. But damn, we're on the credits, now I need to buy it!

    Cheers wacko!

    Cheers wacko!

I absolutely love the campaign so far (I played like 20 missions) and yeah the cutscenes are awesome. The UNN reports are hilarious by the way, especially when Raynor adds a bitter comment afterwards about Donny Vermilion. Tychus and Tosh are my favorite characters,

even if I was suspicious about Tosh's motives at first.

By the way my account is skacky / 697 on EU, if you ever want to play, I'm your man.

    Cool of you wacko

The game is AWESOME. I just completed it on hard, playing through some of the missions now to get the achievements

The ending is everything that I hoped for, I really really am glad that they did this with the story <3

Theres a couple of choices you have to make a long the way. I selected to side with Tosh when that choice came up, but I never ended up using his specialist units. At the end you get the choice to neutrialize air (mutas & broodlords) or ground (nydus). I chose to destroy air, because I hate facing broodlords. On the very last mission, I tried doing as I always did: Just massing thors and having scv's repairing them. It didnt work out so well because the nydus' that spawn nubs overran me every time. I instead opted to mass battlecruisers and just send two to each nydus when they spawned and that made everything a lot easier.

Wow Skjalg, you're a machine! I'm only on like my 9th mission, and I've been playing it a lot, I thought

45 quid to download it for pc seems fucking extortionate! No way I'm paying that much. Gonna wait til the price comes down.

The second paragraph is worth reading. Some screens might make your pc very hot.

haha I woke up early tuesday morning, went to check if I had gotten the game in the mail. I hadn't, so I ran to the closest store and bought it and played it through in one sitting, which was about 18 hours total.

Massing tanks with Science Vessels, Bunkers and Battlecruisers is a good strategy too against the Nydus scenario. I did this and only suffered losses when Kerrigan came and fucked them. But otherwise you just sit and drink your beer.

You can even add mercenaries to help you, especially the Siege Breakers who are absolute killing machines.Anyway I finished it too and it was GREAT. The part with Tassadar and the Overmind was very cool, it's strange to see Tassadar talking of the Overmind like that. Oh and the "End of time" mission was effing awesome, I held the position for 45 minutes before I was completely overrun. Zeratul died first, followed by Urun, Artanis (with a badass portrait!), Selendis and Mohander.

    Definitely worthy of its predecessor.

The first couple of hours of play I didn't experience any problems at all, but lately its begun crashing a lot around mission selection and when a mission has been completed. So much in fact that I've saving every 5 minutes just to be safe.

Weird that none of this was happening before. Now it's basically happening all the time :G

Best singleplayer experience I've had in a long time, not only in an RTS. I was worried the parts between missions on the Hyperion could be tedious or gimmicky, but it works sooo well...

"Certain screens make your hardware work pretty hard," the known issues portion of the site reads, "screens that are light on detail [like a menu screen] may make your system overheat if cooling is overall insufficient." It's a result of the game "drawing the screen quickly." The workaround is to cap the game's frame rate by digging and adjusting file values.

    lol, wtf.

i guess code wise it's one of those very basic bugs, that no one remembers to fix before shipping.

$65 USD including tax. Could have shopped around and got it cheaper but I had the box in my hand and couldn't resist. I usually never get a game if it's over $50, Blizzard games seem to be the exception though.

I fear you'll have to restart another campaign, because once you're on Char, you can't come back to the Hyperion.
