Make sure you don't play this patch in fullscreen windowed or you will be capped at 60 fps with vsync.

    You guys! YOU GUYS!!!

This game is running buttersmooth now after the latest patch. Unfortunately, the game crashes after a few minutes but it's BUTTERSMOOTH until then!!!

    Woop!

It's free this weekend by the way guys if you want to try it out. If you like it, then it's 50% off too! Perfect time to try the game out and buy it if you like it.

My game took five minutes to update the shader cache and then was going for another five minutes of precaching before I gave up. Is this just the result of my graphics settings being cranked up?

Ah, precaching takes forever... But it only does it once and you won't have to do it again.

Almost instant join that time. Played about 30 minutes on Docking, good looking stuff! One hell of a complicated game. The tutorials during respawn seem to be moving in the right direction, but it seems like they could be more directed at my previous round rather than just running through all the features of the game. The phase gates got damn confusing when there are multiple points to move between. When the lurk is spraying his shit all over a room do the other aliens become hidden inside of it?

this is free weekend on steam. i grabbed it. nothing like ns1 in my opinion. the graphics are good and its a decent game, but not that epic what was ns once...

i was a hardcore ns1 player and played it since it came out on halloween , before it was on steam and followed this mod thru every update...

there is something about this game that lacks.

one thing that i dislike is the alien view, it kinda looks like matrix...

    i dont feel this game.

is ns_descent a remake of ns nancy?

    who designed descent.. looks good.

    also, game crashes... ..unstable.

the level design is in my opinion mind blowing... but the gameplay... dont know.

i feel ashamed to tell you that i have been a huge fan of flayras work ns1.. and this is when i started mapping

however i am ashamed to tell that during all this time i STILL do not own or have played natural selection 2.

i consider buying it soon but i feel like i have turned my back to the devs
